We stayed in a suite with our two small children: there was plenty of room, and the suite came with a little terrace where we had dinner one evening, enjoying the views over the gorgeous surrounding hills. The location of La Dimora is very hard to beat, minutes from Saint-Florent and really close to a lot of the highlights of Cap Corse, and the refurbished farmhouse buildings are simply gorgeous. So is the swimming pool, where we came to unwind in the afternoons after days of visits and beach.
The service is quite good: our requests were dealt with in a friendly and efficient manner, although the staff is quite hard to find (maybe hire more staff during high season?).
Like other guests, I was shocked by the cost of what is, essentially, a buffet continental breakfast where you will find stale-ish bread and cereals, as well as some past-their-prime fruit... if you want a cooked breakfast you have to order, but then you must be prepared to wait 10-15 minutes; similarly when the filter coffee runs out, well then wait again you must. With just one waiter helping everyone out, it's no surprise he struggles, but still, it takes away from the positive experience. That said, we soon discoverd you can eat delicious french breakfasts at most restaurants in Saint-Florent, for under 10 Euros...
