The words quaint, pictoresque cannot be used to desribe this location.
If you are a film director looking for a set to shoot a B-film (horror) you are in the right place; Stuffed foxes, dining room from the 70's, toilets equiped with materials on sell-out in the early 70's and the outside hasn't had any maintenance for decades. So no need for a a lot of set building.
If you do pass by, stay on the terrace, at least the view is nice (towards the water).
Real shame, the location itself is magnificent and with proper management and funding, this could be a gem on the waterfront. No idea why it is in such pitiful stateMore
