This hotel ticks all the boxes. It is practible, clean and situated in a very good location.
Nothing was too ‘flash’. The building from the outside looked rather bland but do not be put off. My room was comfortable and breakfast was quite sufficient. The staff were very helpful. There are options for visitors with disabilities. In all it was good value.
The hotel is situated on Sovyetskaya Square.
Belarus has a number of beautiful Catholic and Russian Orthodox Churches which are a delight to visit. Almost next door to this hotel is (in my opinion) one of the most beautiful Cathedral/church in Belarus, the blue domed, Baroque Roman Catholic Jesuit Farney Cathedral. It is quite simply stunning, inside and out. I had the great experience of attending the Sunday 07:00am service. It was nice to see a church so full with all ages attending. The Great Choral Synagogue of Grodno, near to this hotel is well worth a visit.
Like all towns and cities in Belarus, everywhere was spotlessly clean and Grodno was no exception.

Room tip: Front room facing Sovyetskaya Square.

To be honest; I didn't expect much when I saw the exterior - the façade doesn't do the hotel justice.

Neither does the foyer but what blew my mind was the size of the room and if you've ever had a complaint of low pressure when taking a shower - that will not occur at Neman Hotel!

When it comes to breakfast; I didn't know what to expect (coming from Minsk where we're renting an AirBnB) I was pleasantly surprised by the service provided - interesting that you'll get four options to choose from & all include delicious bread!

I would not hesitate to choose Neman Hotel next time in Grodno

We stayed there in 2016 and everything was very well there, very well. Everything except breakfasts, as when we came tto have them we were told that there were not half of the dishes mentioned in the menu. And the waiter wasn't very polite with us.

Hotel is calm, English speaking... Four choice for breakfast, no possibilities of combination / and no real choice for diabetics.
Rooms are pleasant - with a factory view, hiding behind beautiful church (only cupolas can be seen...)

Polish Catolic church next door, offering services in Polish language, children theater with vegan restaurant on the other side...

Room tip: second floor is a good enough / higher floors offer better view!

Having spent 3 nights at Neman, the following hotel features can be posted:
1) Friendly reception and possibility to process payments with credit/debit cards;
2) Breakfast: 4 or 5 sets of breakfast available from the menu, hard to make any amendments. The tea and coffee is served in small caps. Wanting 2 teas I had to ask for two cups of hot water and share the teabag between the two.
3) Rooms; mine was with a view on the large and very clean square with lots of flower beds. Rooms are rather clean with small refrigerator and plasma TV set. No thrills. Beds mid-comfort and rather narrow for a single room I had occupied.
Over all the price of about Euro 50 for a single room could merit a bit higher standard, which I believe the Hotel management is striving to achieve.
