One word for our stay...AWFUL! Don't even know where to start...it was just awful! This hotel is recommended if you are coming to see the Tintin Museum, as it is a 10 minute walk from the hotel to the museum. However, DON'T BOTHER! The staff are lazy and unprofessional. The hotel is dirty and falling to pieces. There is hardly any staff and when there is staff they never answer the phone, they never deal with any problems. The hotel was run down, the drinks machine was broken the whole few days we stayed. I fixed it once after complaining so many times about getting it sorted.We ate once in the restaurant in the evening, that wasn't up too much, which was why we ate out every night. The hotel room was exceptionally smaller than we thought, despite having a twin room. We had a balcony which was a total hazard and I fell over the step and knocked my foot really badly. Nobody ever picked up the phone and reception was mainly unmanned.The lift kept breaking down and so we had to use the stairs. It spoilt our visit to the museum. Save your money and stay a little further away. The Herge museum need to review why this hotel is recommended. They could do so much more with the decor and turning it into the main herge hotel to stay in, bu, instead there is a wasted opportunity...One word for our stay...AWFUL!
