We stumbled across this restaurant and had a beer there , the English waitress who's father in law owned the restaurant was lovely , chatty and helpful we spent a happy hour admiring the view and enjoying the lovely smells of our neighbours food! We decided to go back there for a light tapas lunch, we asked the waiter and he read out the tapas available, we chose meatballs, onion rings ,garlic prawns and bread - not a huge amount, but we are not big eaters and my partner is new to tapas, the waiter made it obvious that he would have preferred it if we had a tapas selection for €20 each which looked wonderful but just wasn't for us! The garlic prawns were out of this world All the other waiters were lovely and this waiter was very nice with people who ordered the full tapas selection !! We would go back as the food could not be faulted

We ate here 4 or 5 times during our stay and had lovely meals every time.

We tried the fresh fish, grilled king prawns, steak, salads and chicken and all were perfectly cooked, hot and tasty. We loved choosing from their fresh fish of the day, simply cooked to make the most of the flavour. Home made deserts, although we only had room for one once.

The view is fantastic over the harbour. One night we had an impromptu performance from musicians below and another we had the San Juan fireworks and bonfire. Perfect view from our seats.

The service is great, Laura is very friendly and chatty, and the other waiters are all real characters too.

The price was slightly lower than other fresh fish restaurants we tried, but we found the food better at Mardeleva.

Book ahead for a front line view, although all the tables have great views. They close on Thursdays. Great place for lunch with a view too.

Wanted a nice place for our last evenings meal and decided to try this place based on reviews. Staff very welcoming from the start. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the Sea Bass and my steak was mouth wateringly good. They had an enclosed seating area at the front just overlooking the harbour which made for a very nice atmosphere. My wife said that the dessert of fresh fruit with a meringue topping was the best she'd had during our holiday. All in all a very good choice.
I can't say whether it's best to book as we didn't need to. But it was full, with people still coming and going while we ate.
I f you have trouble finding it, go to the edge of the harbour where you can catch the water taxi to Porto Calero and look up to your right you will see the restaurants green sign. A good choice.
