We stayed at the Milena hotel on our last two nights in Greece before flying back to London

Mykonos was a bit of a shock after having spent 8 wonderful days in Naxos, and certainly the Milena Hotel was a welcome refuge from the “glitz” of the town
It’s a very modern hotel, we estimate only recently built. Its located on a very busy main road, although once you enter the centre of the hotel you are cut off from the noise

As mentioned in previous reviews it’s about a 20-25-minute walk into the centre of town – we tried it once, but never again – you have to walk on the road for part of the time as there is no pavement and as mentioned there is a constant flow of high speed traffic. There is however a bus every half an hour, and that’s the best way to get into and out of town, unless of course you have a car.

There is a nice bakery and supermarket just opposite the hotel.

The room was spotless – very modern with a television and air conditioning and a very modern on-suite shower and toilet – the only thing that needed a bit of getting used to was the bright colour of the bathroom and bedspread ! There was very good WIFI, and a nice seating area outside with views of the island and sea. The room was also well cleaned with new sheets and towels.

We paid 6 euro’s each for breakfast which was fine – lots of choice including cereals etc.

The staff were lovely very friendly and very helpful – we were greeted with a glass of orange, a map, and lots of advice for getting around and where to eat etc. They told us how to get to Delos, and even gave us a lift down to the port in the morning. We were collected from the ferry when we arrived, and taken to the airport when we left.

So, we are glad we chose this hotel, were very happy there and if we ever go to Mykonos again would stay there.

This hotel is the best! Away from the chaotic town but only a short bus trip away or a 15 minute walk. It's family run and ALL of the family are so lovely. They will help you out in any way they can, nothing is too much trouble for them. The rooms are really clean and there is a lovely sitting out patio area where you can either sit in the sun or shade and relax. Breakfast is 6 euros and has all you need. We would absolutely return to this hotel if we came back to Mykonos.

Milena , Frosso and the staff know all about hospitality. Comfortable serene perfectly located hotel. Loved it and would return. Bus stop and market right outside the front door. 5 stars. Great breakfast. Clean. Quiet.

Our 5-day trip to Mykonos was nothing short of the best holiday of our lives, and Milena Hotel played a central part in making it that way. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning, and is brimming with traditional Mykonian charm (there's even a one of the many iconic chapels on-site that the island is famous for).

However, the service provided by every member of staff was simply outstanding, and every one of their recommendations for beaches and restaurants was absolutely spot-on. They even offered to drive us to a more convenient bus stop when we decided to go somewhere a little less accessible. We'll definitely be returning to Mykonos one day, and we won't even think of staying anywhere else!

The Staff was extremely friendly and helpfull, they text msg us a day before to arrange our pick up from the ferry. They made us feel very welcome and we felt joy and happiness from their side to take care if us there. The room was very clean, breakfast was delicious and we felt very secure at their place. They helped us to rent a quad-bike. In short, I strongly recomment their hotel.
