Description: With a long life course intertwined with the island, Kazarma (storia e gusto) returned to Gialos last year with a totally updated style and concept reminding of a European bistrot. All day hangout, right on the sea front, with a privileged view, travels us from the morning with a well catered menu (you should try grandma's "strapatsada" or "Maria's meatballs"), also fresh fish (including red mullets), cod with black "skordalia" (traditional Greek dip), porchetta (slowly roasted pork), while the windows are full of traditional dishes, exceptional cheeses and cold cut varieties, that promise us tasteful... indiscretions throughout the day! In any case, there isn't anyone who can resist the inspired recipes of the talented chef Stavros Bairabas, which are already very popular, such as urchin salad, ink risotto as well as lamb cooked with fennel seeds. At the end you can enjoy an Italian budino with caramel and smoked salt and make the sweetest epilogue for the day! Just before it gets dark, enjoy a romantic dinner or a cocktail from the updated list with the sea aura accom-panying you. Daily 08:00-03:00.

We had lunch and dinner at Kazarma in Mykonos. It is directly across the water with a great view of the Aegean Sea! We sat there and had drinks and enjoyed the delicious food and atmosphere. It was so good we went back for after dinner dessert too! Most of all Valisses who was standing outside and invited us in was the best! We enjoyed talking with him and he was so handsome and charming too! Loved it!

I'm surprised this doesn't rank higher in Mykonos - it's great!

We were recommended this place by our hotel's owner. It's right in the harbour front and neighboured by the usual fare of lowing quality restaurants with loud people out front trying to get you come in. Kazarma was different.

Immediately welcomed and seated, the staff were so friendly and kind and happy to suggest their favourites. The cheese saganaki was incredible and we've never tasted a piece of salmon cooked so well!

Our only regret was not coming here earlier in our stay as we would have loved to go back before we left!

We came across Kazarma’s last year and decided to go back this year. The food was as great as we remembered it to be. We had beef carpaccio, Santorini tomato salad and fresh anchovies, all washed down with a great bottle of wine. All 3 dished were superb. The place is located on the waterfront so it tends to be busy but you can reserve a table. Highly recommend it.

We walked by in the day and were greeted by the very friendly owner almost immediately. He talked us through a few of the dishes and after perusing a little on our own though the menu - we decided to come back that evening. We were very glad that we did! We arrived at sunset and managed to get one of the tables at the front facing out over the port. The waiters were very attentive and couldn't do more to make sure out meal was enjoyable. We chose the hummus to start as a little nibble before our main and it was one of the best I have every tried, served with thin crispy flatbreads and dusted with paprika. I then, after much deliberation between the lamb in red wine, and one of the many fresh fish options on offer, chose the seabass with friccasse. Wow! The seabass was cooked beautifully and served in a buttery white wine sauce with a pile of herby greens. Not only did it look stunning but it tasted divine and I would highly recommend it! My partner had the angus burger which he also said was fantastic.
With such a beautiful view and such delicious food - it's a shame we only discovered it on our last day!

We've visited twice so far for dinner and once for brunch. The service is always friendly and we are made to feel like friends rather than clients. A special word of thanks to Anna who made our most recent visit so special.

Given the prime location on the harbour side, you could be forgiven for expecting little from such a restaurant. However, the food is delicious and the prices decent, as are the portion sizes. For a table of six, I typically moderate my expectations a little. But here, there was absolutely no need. The service was excellent.

Wine is a little more expensive than some other venues, but still manageable.

Great spot for people watching too!
