Spent four wonderful nights at the Alkyon early august and had the time of my life. I flew over solo to meet my great mates Glen and Geoff that have been going to the Alkyon for more than 25 years, and had one of the best trips ever. The hotel and staff were brilliant and friendly. And the rooms were really clean and a pleasure to stay in. I will definitely be back.

The staff at Alkyon couldn't have been more helpful, offering a map of the island with plenty of recommendations on what to do/where to eat etc. They also helped us get some laundry done and gave us a free shuttle ride to the port after checkout.

The room itself was massive, clean and the bed spacious (although the two single beds forming the double did separate too easily).

The hotel is handily located slightly away from the hustle and bustle of the quaint Old Town, just a 5-10 minute walk away, perched on a hill that overlooks the main town below. If you don't have a car and your mobility isn't great then the steps up may pose an issue but for most, the hotel is easily accessible.

As it sits above the Old Town, this gives it it's main selling point - the fantastic views. The swimming pool area looked great but unfortunately the weather in our 2 days there meant we didn't use it.

The breakfast is good, if not amazing, but certainly the best hotel breakfast we've had in Greece this far.

Would recommend if you want a nice hotel with great views and access to the Old Town.

Stunning hotel! You walk into the foyer and you know that you have picked the right place. Gorgeous pool with a view of Mykonos town.
Make sure you don’t miss the sunset! Wish we could have stayed longer! Comfy beds, friendly staff. Short walk to Mykonos town but further enough away to be able to not hear the partying at night l.

This hotel has a fantastic position on top of the hill for amazing views of the harbour, town and sunset, breathtaking. Lounge, terrace, and pool area are lovely. our room was good apart from a few cobwebs in the ceiling corners. Staff are incredible, helpful and friendly.
Being on the hill does have its downside as the walk to town is sheer and dark. this is easily overcome by a 5 euro taxi. Good value.

The hotel was clean and well maintained with a great view. All staff were friendly and helpful especially Tina at the front desk.
Plastic shower curtains should be banned. Our room had a large deck again with an excellent view.
A footpath nearby leads you down to the beautiful alleyways of Mykonos Town. An easy walk down but the steps coming back up are a trial especially in the hotter months.
The Alkyon is far enough away from the famous Mykonos party scene but close enough to be able to walk anywhere in Mykonos Town.
Reasonably priced accommodation with a nice pool and deck area overlooking Mykonos Town.
Free transfer to and from port if arriving by ferry or to and from airport (only 5 minutes away) was very convenient. John handles the transfers and was very friendly.
