We did´nt eat here more than once on our trip, some of the group (six people) was very satisfied, some not.But we were told by many local that this was a good restaurant. Palms have so many good places to eat tapas.

We came across this place a few years ago recommended by some friends who live locally and have been several times to the restaurant. it is a little gem of a place, great food, great service and great prices and lovely atmosphere. So thrilled to actual stay here and it was everything I could have wanted. Room was large with a good size balcony, very clean and comfortable. Love the garden court yard for pre dinner drinks. Can't wait to go back

Charming decor, lovely room, delightful staff, excellent restaurant and bar! Highly recommended! We rarely return to a city or hotel because life is short, but this place lured us back. It FEELS good to be there. Highly recommended!

An upscale hotel just two blocks from the beachfront. Choice of restaurants: one is full-service formal; the other a more casual, very comfortable (couches & armchairs) cafe. Formal restaurant more couples & business people; the cafe more locals. Off season prices were very reasonable.

Room Tip: Many rooms have small outdoor terraces - larger than a normal balcony.

We visited the Hostal by recommendation from my Aunt who stays in Palamos a few times a year and we was not disappointed. Luckily we had pre warning of how it works but it was still chaotic. If you are visiting try to check out the set menu in the morning to see if it's something you like. Arrive 5/10 minutes before hand if not sometime before and have a drink in the courtyard. At 2 euros for a beer it's not exspensive. As soon as 2 pm strikes people appear from nowhere and you form an orderly queue through the courtyard its first come first serve. If not quick enough you may have a small wait but it's def worth it. For 10.90 euros. We had 3/4 bottle of wine. Bottle of water, rolls, a starter that was a size of a main, a stew with one potato which was more than enough and a choice of three deserts. We was more than full after and enjoyed every minute. If your English some staff do struggle but if your patient and attempt some Spanish they are very helpful and try to.
You can't book for lunch or dinner so the same principle for lunch happens at dinner but for the price and quality it's well worth the queue and wait. Would def revisit and recommend. The picture I have included is the starter we had!
