My family and I stayed for a week in this house, it's well equipped with everything you would really need for a holiday and includes towels and bedding. The village the house is in is small and quiet but does have a good local shop and there are a couple of other places within walking distance where you can pick up ready made food. The location of the house is perfect for the beach front, it's a five minute walk - the beach itself is vast and sandy with a shallow slope and sand bars which was great for our children. The village itself featured heavily in D-Day and there are many reminders within walking distance. a car will allow you easy access to Bayeaux(10 minutes), Caen (25 minutes), as well as all the historical sites in that part of Normandy. We drove down to Mont St Michel in 1.5 hours from the house as the road network is good in this area. I would recommend the house and the area to anyone looking to holiday in France.

A great location for those who are interested in the D-Day beaches - and even if you're not. Not really recommended for those who have a problem with stairs as access to the upper floor is by way of a spiral staircase, but that is made clear on the details of the property, which is well equipped. We would certainly return to this property.
