We were here for almost a week. The location is beautiful, the personnel very friendly. We did our PADI open water course here with Pat, which was very relaxed and fun! Diving here is very nice, as is snorkeling. Amazing views and sunsets :)

It is very RELAXING and BEAUTIFUL at this part of Siquijor. It is quiet and it has excellent food. There is a beautiful beach, literally a few meters away. They also maintain their own Coral Reef.
The staff are warm and friendly, smiles all over. Also very organized. You can organize a tour of the island or a diving trip with Kiwi.

Our stay at Kiwi’s place was very pleasant and enjoyable. Our cottage was extremely clean and carefully cared of. The staff at Kiwi’s place were super friendly and warm, always making sure we were properly attended and taken care. They offer good quality food at a reasonable price. They made our stay memorable! We can’t recomend them enough! Thank you girls for your constant smile and good cares, we’ll surely visit you again!

We rolled up without a reservation and were pretty lucky to get a cottage that was maybe 500 feet from the shore with a fan. Our main concern was that you could gain entry into our cottage via the bathroom and there were signs saying the hotel was not liable for stolen belongings, and not to keep valuables in the rooms. This could easily be solved by putting the locks for the bathroom on the inside of the room, instead of the outside... we made a makeshift lock and locked up all our stuff in our room, but were very wary the entire time. The food was decently priced, and their space on the beach was really pretty. Our first dive we had to delay an hour because the tide was out, and then we had to walk all over the brittle sea stars and what not to get to the boat, always makes me a little bit sad. The boat was cute and took us to the dive site, nothing fancy, we dropped in to a giant wall that was teeming with life, very big nudis, a really cool dive, my only complaints would be that the guy we were diving with kept picking up stuff and crushing the reef to take pictures, totally disrespectful diving in my opinion, and there was a fair bit of trash on the reef, his reef, that the guide could have picked up, but didnt. Other than that, wifi was the standard pace of the island, slow and unpredictable, but works-ish. Its nice to rent a scooter and go to other beaches or if you want a long ride, the falls or Balete tree.

Room Tip: go for the rooms closer to the beach

The grounds are so beautiful and peaceful. Had the most relaxing time here. Some the the best food we had in the Philippines! Delicious omelettes and crepes! Dinner options are great as well like the garlic chicken. Seriously, the food really stands out! They make everything by hand so be prepared to wait awhile to get your food.

The room we stayed in was the one with air con which worked very well. It was very small and the beds were hard, but it was clean. They were kind enough to let us switch to another mattress that was softer. The shower is right next to the toilet so the floor is often wet. Our friends stayed in the large cottage on the ground level and it was really nice inside, but no air con just fans.

The vibe and food of this place really make it all worth it!
