I almost hate to post a review for fear that others will find out about this place.
We shared a fabulous week at Villa Kokita, made even better by our fabulous host Esther. Nothing was too difficult. Within hours the fridge was full of beer, 6 bikes were delivered and we'd planned our trip to the markets and a BBQ for the following evening. Every morning we would wake to the most remarkable sunrises then watch the turtles from our breakfast table. Our days were filled with snorkelling, swimming in the pool and just simply relaxing. The boys in the restaurant next door would even bring our food to us so there was no need to leave the vila at all if you didn't want to. And there certainly was no need - the people watching was entertainment enough!!
Now I'm sure there are other, more luxurious places to stay on the island but NOTHING can beat the position of Villa Kokita and thats what you pay for. Don't get me wrong, the accommodation is lovely and although quite basic we didn't want for anything.
It was truely a small piece of paradise. We will certainly be back.More
