We recently had lunch at the Brasserie at Parisian and were very happy with our meal. This is an accessible and surprisingly good French restaurant to try in Macau. Opening hours 11am to 11pm daily.

Decor is typical Parisian with hints of Art Nouveau, service is sharp and surprisingly efficient, not something we experience a lot of at restaurants in Macau. Seating area is fairly large so there is a good chance for walk-ins to be seated immediately or with minimal wait. We dined at 1pm on a Saturday and found the restaurant full upon arrival. After a 10 minute wait a table in the back was ready for us.

Menu is a nice range of expected French cuisine. During our lunch we had the French Onion Soup served with a layer of comte. Cheese was properly baked and the soup tasted perfect.

For our mains, we ordered the Canard a L'orange, a beautiful and delicious duck breast with a touch of orange sauce and served with potato gratin. If you like duck, you'll like this dish at Brasserie.

We also ordered the Rossini prepared medium rare. This was a perfectly executed and flavourful steak. The fillet mignon was deep pink and of very good quality. Topped with pan-seared foie gras and black truffle sauce, this was a delicious Rossini.

Very happy with the soup and mains we decided to try the Moelleux au Chocolate et Cointreau (for 2) dessert This was a baked chocolate fondant with delectable chocolate filling, another very good order on the day.

In the end, we liked everything we tried at Brasserie and will place this restaurant at Parisian high on our list of places to return to in the near future. At this time, based on our experience, this is an easy place to recommend for anyone fancying French cuisine and a nice meal during visits to Macau.

Once again, TripAdvisor does not disappoint. My family I enjoyed a delicious set of dishes at La Brasserie. The flavors really reminded me of what we would have at a brasserie in France. Our group ordered from the set lunch, plus a few a la carte items. Everything was flavorful and tasty. The baguette came out warm (crunchy on the outside, fluffy inside). My husband said his glass of wine was amazing as well. The banana and Nutella crepe was however, too sweet and watery. I think they tried to caramelize the bananas. Apart from that, it was overall a great culinary experience and for a very reasonable price.

My only criticism would be the restaurant greeter. She had a bit of attitude when we arrived at 2:30pm and would not seat us right away, despite there being plenty of seats available. She explained that she needed to check if the kitchen was still open. Not only were there were people being seated well after us, but when we asked our server when the kitchen closes, he said it is open all day until 11pm.

The service from our server and the manager was outstanding. They were courteous, knowledgeable and professional. It really makes a difference! Even my mom, who is a picky eater, said that we should go back and eat there again. Great restaurant. We’ll be back!
