Large comfortable rooms with all the things you would expect in a higher rated hotel.
Slightly difficult to navigate around on the lower floors due to the maze of shops and resuarants.
Cannot fault the price.

I stayed there for one night with my wife in mid February.
We were disappointed with the room we were given which was small, old and tired so we upgraded for a low cost to a suite. What a difference! VERY large bed room and living room, 'working' desk and a very nice bath room with a sophisticated jacuzzi. The additional payment was worth every $!
The mini bar in all the rooms is for free which is a nice gesture.

The hotel is in a good location. It's only walking distance to Senado square and other attractions.
Similar to other major hotels in Macau, they also provide free shuttle to ferry terminal, and from there you can hop to other free shuttle to other hotel/casino. It's very convenient and usefull.

Service is good although the check-in line at the reception was long and it did take some time to check-in.

The hotels casino is packed and very noisy and is not appealing at all so if gambling is what you are looking for - better try the other Americam large hotels casino's (Venetian, Wynn, Mgm etc).

If I am ever back in Macau I will either go for the Lisboa's hotel suite or look for another hotel.

We stayed here for 2 nights back in October 2011. The check-in line at the reception was huge.. I think it took us about 20 minutes to get served. The receptionist was helpful, so does all the other staff in the hotel. They are so friendly as well! Most of them have good English, and always willing to help.. We travelled with a 2 year old so we have to bring the pram in and out of the hotel, and even though the exit from the hotel has a few steps, the bell boys were always quick to help carry our pram. I dare say that the staff in this hotel are one of the most friendly and helpful out of all the hotels I've ever been!
They were doing some construction (renovation?) while we were there, but it didn't really bother us.. Our rooms were clean and spacious, bathroom has one of those gorgeous spa bath with a glass window that can be closed/opened overseeing the bedroom. Everything in the bar fridge are also free, as long as they're not being taken out. These are replenished every day.
Hotel has an underground walkway to go to and from Grand Lisboa, and it's in a walking distance to Senado square (abt 15-20 mins). We didn't check out the casinos in the hotel as none of us like to gamble, so can't comment on that.
There's restaurants just outside the hotel, and convenience store about 10 mins walk from the hotel.. Just ask the bell boy and they will be more than willing to give you directions!

I stayed there for 2 nights with my wife & 5-yo boy. What i like about the hotel is the location. It's only walking distance to senado square & ruin of st paul. We can also walk to public children playground (it was a bit too cold to play there). Similar to other major hotels in Macau, they also provide free shuttle to ferry terminal, and from there you can hop to other free shuttle to other hotel/casino (venetian, galaxy, sands, etc). It's very convenient, no need to use public bus/taxi. It's my first trip to macau and i have a very positive impression. As for the hotel, the great thing is they give mini bar for free (as long as you don't take the can/bottle outside the room). They also have indoor swimming pool (i didn't swim there), free in-room internet service. We were also happy to sleep in the king size bed. What i don't really fancy too much is the interior. It's a bit old for my taste, although they keep it well-maintained. Would love to stay there again, but maybe i will try other hotels first.

Lisboa's location, ambience and facilities are quite good for the price they charge. We got a room towards the front side of the hotel with a view of the Macau tower and the sea. The rooms are spacious and have an old world charm to them. The restraunt is just about okay.
While this is the place where gambling scene of Macau started, in today's context the casino in Lisboa isn't great. One needs to head for the Grand Lisboa, which is just across the road and connected by an over bridge like walkway. Better still go to an American Casino for an even better experience. The minibar items are complimentary in Lisboa. The location is very central and ideal to travel to any part of Macau. Overall a good value for the price being charged.

Room Tip: Ask for a front side room to get a sea view.

we stayed in this hotel in october.i booked it after reading lots of reviews.when we reached hotel around 11;45am we were told that we can check in only after 2 pm.First we were annoyed but that waiting was worth for.
we were given a good room on 16th floor,we opted for non smoking room (so we got an upgrade).the room was big and fully equiped with all amenities.
the best part was their mini bar,one has to leave the empty can or bottles and it was refilled daily(free of cost).TV had lots of channels to offer (including adult channels).
the indoor pool of hotel was small but clean n hygienic.the only put off was the net service in room, every person from their technical team tried but they could not provide net service inside the room to my laptop.so i used net service in their office.
the lobby was always flooded with beautiful chinese girls.the hotel was really grand and massive.seven star facilities at the price of five.full value of money.

Room Tip: always opt for non smoking room to get an free upgrade.

The hotel has some value for the money, but on the second floor, prostitutes walk the hallways for potential customers to stare at and purchase. The prostitutes usually have a police officer or a hotel security guard follow them for protection, so clearly its an acceptable practice in the hotel and the city. If you don't believe this review Google "hotel lisboa + prostitutes".
