Where to start with my praise? First, the location; a short walk to great restaurants, a few museums, the Lace Palaces, the symphony and a straight shot (by taxi) down the main street to the center of town. The hotel is new and still being worked on (I think) so everything is perfect. The rooms are large, tastefully decorated including a chandelier, and have a separate sitting area. There is tea and coffee, a fridge and 8 electrical outlets. The bathroom has a long counter, robes and all the amenities times 2. And it is dead quiet with a very comfortable bed.
The front desk staff welcomes with a smile and is so helpful; giving directions, making suggestions and even found a concert for us.
Breakfast offers a wide variety of hot and cold foods; eggs, crepes, pancakes, meats, cold fish, vegetables hot and cold, juices, cereals, fruits, champagne...Dinner is acceptable but there are great restaurants nearby so not an issue.
My only warning is the lack of an elevator. They lug the bags around but if you have difficulty walking get a room on the first floor.
This is my top hotel so far of the 6 cities we have visited. Highly recommended.More
