We live one and a half hours south of Rennes. my husband has spinal problems. An early hospital appointment at a hospital north of Rennes meant we needed to have overnight accommodation or get up really early etc.
This hotel was five minutes from our destination, easy to find and very, very comfortable.
Our room was on the second floor but the lift was handy so mobility wasn't a problem. It was well fitted out...I am always amazed at how well a small hotel room can be planned. The shower was hot and all on one level, no stepping up or down into a shower tray. The bed was big and very good to sleep.
It was a Sunday evening so it was quiet and the restaurant was closed, but there were eateries in very close vicinity so no problems there.
After a good night's sleep breakfast was a treat. Particularly the fresh orange juice.
The staff in the restaurant and at reception were more than welcoming and very helpful.
We need to return to the hospital...we'll probably repeat the experience .
Thank you

Traveling from Cherbourg to La Zenia in Spain used this hotel as a stopover prebooked on internet, with my wife and pet dog. Clean spacious room, helpful staff, great pet friendly approach, would recommend as a stopover but not convenient to Rennes Centre.

very nice hotel, I stayed 2 nights, travelling for business.
The hotel is quite new and modern style. a bit far from public transportation and point of interest but a good restaurant is close to it.
Friendly staff

We have just arrived after a very long journey at the Ibis Styles in Rennes en route to Quimper. Our small and very bored daughter was greeted with a child welcome pack (inc a fidget spinner - perfect distraction for the rest of our trip). We didn't know what to expect from the 'Styles' brand, but it is very bright, chic, clean and well-considered. The hotel is situated in a very commercial area of Rennes, so good for conference business-types in the week, but also convenient for family trade over the weekends. There is a kid's corner with educational games set up for different ages (a couple needed recharging), also art materials, TV, self-serve hot drinks for parents, blackboard and halls, beautiful murals, beanbags etc. The room is well thought out, with sofa bed fur kids and 79" double bed which counsels fit a while family. Room temperature was perfect even in July. The toilet and ensuite bath/shower are separate within the room (family suite) which is great for the family to save queues. The room was very quite. Hotel also has free Wi-Fi, all you can eat buffet, adapters to borrow (ours was buried in the packing) and the friendliest staff ever. Nice bar, with hot snacks available even when we arrived at 10pm. Gated car park and safe store room for bikes/luggage. Signage could be a bit better to the hotel, but maybe we were tired! But the hotel just off the Rennes ring round (junc 13a), so a useful stop en route to the ferry. All together just what we needed!
