This is a hotel that we have known for many years , and , although under new management , it continues to provide comfortable and attentive service and good value for money , in an excellent central location.

Incredibly picturesque hotel in a quiet traditional French square. We stayed in a privilege room at the top of the hotel. The room was very large and beautifully furnished with toile de jouy curtains and views across gardens. Lovely bathroom with free-standing bath although taps a little temperamental. Our only wish is that the hotel was fully staffed. There was often no one on reception and it was hard to get any service in the afternoon.

Good location in the centre of town and the room - a 'Privilege' room at the top of the building - was large and lovely with a big bath and nice view out the back of the hotel. Free parking was easily available on the street outside.
The staff were poor though. The wifi code was given by reception but not given when we checked in, so we had to trudge back down to reception again to get it. The minibar fridge was next to useless and could not freeze the ice tray. When we asked reception for ice, none was apparently available in the hotel (we cancelled our dinner reservation because of this). All in all, the staff lacked any charm.

Room tip: Reserve a Privilege room

we happened across this hotel ,we only stayed one night but would have been happy to stay longer.our room was truly elegant and tastefully decorated the bed comfy and there were lovely toiletries in our huge bathroom along with fluffy towels.Evening meal was a true gastronomic experience , breakfast was typical French. The staff were friendly

Room tip: as this was a typical french hotel all rooms varied the whole area was quiet

I visited L'Auberge Bretonne for a dinner after the New Year with family. It is the sort of experience where everything is put together to make it a fantastic evening!First, the facade is lovely, the welcome warm and the service impeccable. The interiors (including setting and crockery) were simple, elegant and tidy. As for the food, 5 persons, 3 different courses each (surprisingly affordable), not one disappointment! Products are fresh and local (well done on citing the producers), and flavours I would not expect to see go well together are adroitly married. The result is a delicious and quite fine dinner, accompanied by high quality wine skilfully suggested. The presentation was very refined too. The establishment as a whole is very professional, and while we sometimes lack the time to write a review, this one definitely deserved one! Hats off to the owners!
