We stayed at the Butterfly Beach Hotel for 10 nights in November.
We had an ocean view superior room on the 3rd floor looking out over the whirlpools and out onto the ocean.
The room was very clean and spacious. We had a kitchenette which gave us the opportunity to cook for ourselves if we wanted, however all we used was the fridge to keep water cool.
This isn’t a fancy hotel but it has everything that you need as well as a great location which had a warm, friendly and safe feel to the place.
The staff at the hotel were so nice and friendly. The house keeping staff, security and the young guys working around the hotel were always smiling and welcoming.
A big thank you has to go out to the three individuals which we always saw at the front desk, Michelle for her frog hunting skills (you will always here the frogs in Barbados, however we never saw one) Hazel for her understanding and to Jefferson who always managed to get a table in the best restaurants with only an hour’s notice!!
If you need any advice or any help these guys were always on hand and nothing was too much trouble!
The little hotel shop is run by Deborah and she is amazing. This little shop has everything that you need at very reasonable prices; however I hope that she has stocked up on after...We stayed at the Butterfly Beach Hotel for 10 nights in November.

Deborah is so helpful and such a laugh, and she will look after you especially when you come back from Jammin having had a little too much rum!
The other life saver of the holiday is Marie who is a complete star!! (you will find her in the lobby most mornings at her desk next to all the excursion information) Our holiday rep wasn’t that knowledgeable about what to do on the island, where as Marie took the time to listen to us to see what we wanted to do, and then made some fantastic suggestions tailored just for us. The best thing about Marie is 1 she cares that you have a good holiday and therefore is so honest about all that is available from beaches to where to eat. (and 2) She is not like a rep that works off commission and therefore only suggests certain trips, but she puts you in touch with the top guys for the job so you get the most out of it!More
