This hotel is in prime position for all the bars ect on the gap . But be careful which room and floor you go on as most of the night clubs are open air and very noisy most of the night the sea side rooms are the best and lower floors seem to be better all the new rooms OK! as double glazed

Stayed here for a week in May. Loved the location and access to bars and eateries. Wide range of food choices from street food to higher end restaurants. We didn’t have one bad meal in the ten days we were here.
Hotel itself was comfy, clean and more than adequate. Air con works really well, bedding and towels are changed regularly. Soap only is provided however so bring plenty of toiletries as although there are two small convenience shops on the gap, they’re pricey. The safety deposit box is chargeable but worth having, the beach towels can be taken to the main reception and changed daily. There is an on site laundry you can use as well as quite a well equipped gym. You can get taxis right outside the hotel or use the local buses from the end of the strip by Cafe Del Sol at around 80p.
There is noise at night as Sharkeys is dead opposite but you’re in Barbados, St Lawrence is the party capital of the island, the music is part of this location, we just embraced it.
The grounds are kept nice and security at night is evident. Reception staff on the whole are ok, not overly friendly however and one in particular was just extremely laid back (lazy). We weren’t asked upon checking out if we had enjoyed our stay which was rather odd. Just a very very laid back approach to the guests overall from what I saw. The housekeeping staff on the other hand were extremely friendly and such hard workers.
Whilst we were there new restaurant patio/decking tables and chairs appeared which were a pleasant change from the tatty ones people had previously complained about so that was good to see that comments had been taken on board. The loungers are all fine and there are more than enough to go round. There’s lots of umbrellas too which are necessary due to the extreme heat. We didn’t eat at the on site restaurant so can’t comment on that. The pool is nice and kept clean, there’s also a nice shaded area around the pool to get out of the sun. The beach is very small at high tide but I’m told at low tide the size of the beach doubles. The waves at times are quite rough but on a few days we were able to swim comfortably in the sea. I would definitely return to this hotel mainly for the price, location, comfort, ambience and facilities. Overall a really great stay.

Rooms are clean and nicely decorated, beautiful view overlooking the ocean. The hotel is located right in the heart of St. Lawrence Gap. Staff is absolutely wonderful!! For your convenience there's laundry and a weight room on the premises. The outdoor restaurant serves a great variety of delicious dishes. Overall it's a great experience.

Room tip: All rooms face the ocean, you have a choice between full kitchen or kitchenette suites. Your sure to find a suite to fit your needs.

Excellent service all around. Very clean hotel. Would recommend. They let us stay in a hospitality suite when we arrived earlier than our check in time. Local area available and beautiful. Beaches are along the whole gap. Transportation is easily accessible. Great for night life.

Had a great time at this hotel. Nice pool, plenty of loungers, umbrellas and seating.

Food and drinks were all very good and reasonable.

Rooms cleaned daily to a very good standard, towels and flannels replenished each day. Microwave, kettle, toaster, hob and fridge/freezer all really handy for self catering.

Beach towels are provided, change them anytime of the day at reception for fresh ones.

Located on The Gap, so some noise is to be expected but didn’t keep us awake as we were shattered every night. Being centrally located to all bars and restaurants suited us perfectly and there is a huge choice available.

The beach is small but we did get in the water a few times. Not an issue as a few hundred metres down there’s a long stretch of beautiful beach - Dover Beach. Also a short bus ride will take you to numerous other beaches.

All in all a great stay and we would return.

Room tip: The higher the better for good views
