Food in Barbados is expensive but here is more expensive than you'll be expecting for a beach bar. Is it worth it? Debatable. I'm not convinced but my boyfriend absolutely loved the fish sandwich he had and the alcoholic cocktail to go with it was generously poured as well.
Food and drink purchase means you get a sunbed for free - well, except that the guy going to get it will tell you "I'll get you a sunbed for a small tip" and then later get into a fight (punches thrown) with other vendors on the beach as he isn't supposed to be selling "their" sunbeds.
We also had a discount card as part of a deal for The Beach Shack, Jumas and The Lobster Pot and checked if we could use it before ordering; we were told yes, of course - 10% discount would be added on to food and drinks orders, including alcohol. It wasn't.
