Stayed here after driving through the tunnel from the uk on our way to south of France. Decent prices and room clean. A bit dated and restaurant was shut on the day. Plenty of parking available and easy to find. Staff were friendly.

It's always a pleasure to check in to this hotel. Stephanie and her staff are friendly and helpful and all speak much better English than the French attempted by some guests. This is the place to base yourself if you are touring the Somme battlefield. Situated on the outskirts of town it has plenty of parking and everywhere is easily accessible. And the staff are very tolerant of the mud which some guests inadvertently bring in... Most of the guests are likely to be fellow war bores with a sprinkling of French businessmen visiting the Airbus factory nearby. So there is plenty of chatter to be had in the bar, exchanging experiences and tips. The hotel itself is a normal Ibis - you know what you're getting. Food is basic and if you are staying for more than one night you are probably best advised to head into Albert for sustenance. Room rates vary widely depending on when you want to stay. Battlefield anniversaries can be quite expensive (avoid 1 July for instance) but normally the prices are reasonable.

This Hotel has been well thought out by the Ibis Group, its position and its car parking and easy access from the main road through The Somme battlefields. Having been booked in here by friends, for two nights, bed, breakfast and evening meal, we expected a basic Hotel and basic meals. How wrong we were. The management could not have been more helpful and informative. The rooms were clean, and well appointed. Breakfast was a surprise, big variation of items and even had an egg boiling machine with individual timers, most unusual. The evening meal perhaps was the biggest surprise. A good choice of fish and meat dishes including French specialities. If we were in that region again or passing through, would definitely make a point of stopping there.

Room Tip: All rooms are good. No advantage to room choice.

Modern Ibis hotel. All clean and modern. Located on the outskirts of the town of Albert in the area of the Somme battlefield. It was very easy to locate the hotel. Good size room. The hotel was busy but quite. Efficient check by the friendly team running eth place. Reasonable restaurant and buffet breakfast. Lots of free parking space next to the hotel

A perfect position to stay for visits to WW1 sites in The Somme.
The only issue was the closed in smell from the shower room.
The staff were very friendly and apart from the shower room smell,
there were no issues.
