The somewhat plain front of the hotel hides a comfortable hotel and an amazing park for relaxation. Excellent friendly service. A good breakfast buffet, nice rustic pool and ample shadow parking spaces. Comfortable beds and a clean room. They offer a discount for one of the local restaurants for dinner. Everything for a quiet relaxing stay.

This hotel is probably the main option in this small town. We wanted something in the area so we could visit Etruscan ruins in the area. Based upon TripAdvisor reviews and the hotel’s own site we picked it for our one night in Sovana. The room was very basic with a double bed and chair. There was a little fridge. The bathroom was adequate although the tub could be a challenge for folks with mobility issues. The hair dryer was one of the weak wall models you find in many 3 star or lower Italian hotels. They couldn’t accommodate us in the restaurant due to a group. Breakfast was adequate. There was free WiFi only in the lounge area.

We struggled to find this small hotel- not sure why it describes itself as a resort. We had a small and very basic room. The garden was slightly unkempt and the pool was murky and uninviting. The restaurant was closed. On a Monday night in August you will struggle to find a decent place to eat in this small town. All in all we found Sovana and it's main hotel a fairly dispiriting experience.

Right on Sovana main street, this awesome resort is the perfect place to enjoy Tuscany essence. Rest in the big and beautiful garden full of olive trees (and even a labyrinth...) or in the swimming pool area. Sleep in cozy and quiet rooms. Have a good breakfast inside or in a nice court under big umbrellas. Service is friendly and helpful, price pretty convenient. An internal parking is available, free of charge. Highly reccomended.

We stayed here for two nights just a couple of weeks ago. We loved Sovana and we loved this hotel. The building is beautiful and the pool was outstanding! We had lovely breakfasts and our room was perfect. Nearby are some really good places to eat and drink. We could not fault our stay here. Our only problem were the mosquitoe bites we received by the pool! We will spray ourselves next time! We hope to come back next year and stay again. Beautiful.
