We stayed for four nights one in a room and three in cabana 1 which was very roomy and nice.

Samuel the manager was very nice and helpful The cook at this place is amazing, by far the best food both taste wise and presentation we have had in our two weeks in Mexico

The server/ bar tender Antonio was awesome, very very nice

We stayed at the hotel twice in the past six months and will most probably go back soon. This boutique resort is secluded and very intimate. If you go off season you might be the only guest there. Definitely wouldn't recommend it to those who are looking for the typical big resort experience, nightlife, etc. If you are that type of traveler, stay in Cancun or Playa del Carmen, you'll be much happier. I would also not recommend coming here, if you are afraid of driving through the jungle on a narrow dirt road dotted with potholes. However, if you are looking for a quiet place without cell phone reception and TV, a sandy beach just for yourself, great fly fishing and other water sports, and if you would like to leave with a unique experience that includes meeting some genuine local people, you will have the time of your life.
P.S. The resort keeps its beach very clean, but if you wander off the grounds you will come across areas where trash is washed out on the beach. If you feel like helping, grab a trash bag on one of your walks and collect some plastic.

Room Tip: All rooms are spacious and sea facing.

My wife and I spent some days at this hotel and everything was amazing. The rooms are really nice and well maintain. The staff was amazing and the chef is a real professional. We are going to try to go back there soon. Thanks to all in the hotel for such and amazing vacation.

The room was lovely, besides being greeted by a scorpion the first morning. The cleaning service was prompt and thorough, although intrusive and with no regard to whether or not a guest was in the room. The food was great and the service in the restaurant was perfect! The beach was perfectly maintained...overall, we had a good experience, but felt we overpaid for our stay.

Beautiful tasteful rooms, fantastic garden, not a single bug, great clean beach. The wind is pretty strong, but one somehow gets used to it, and there are always waves. You can however walk for about 20 minutes to swim in a lagoon. It is the perfect place if you want to enjoy nature at its best. Great for families and couples. The only ossue is the food, which couldn't be worse. Even their margaritas were horrendous. We drove to Punta Allen every night to have a decent dinner. But I would certainly go back.
