Amazing Experience!

4.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed Jul 5, 2016
I really enjoyed staying at this hotel due to their nice spacious rooms, the amazing sea-view from even inside the room and their good service. True, they are located slightly away from the beach so you can't really go to the beach walking. But that's also the reason why I think they provide the best view of Cox's Bazar sea beach! The quality of their amenities was not that good, the breakfast could've been better and the check-in procedure was too long - otherwise they would get a perfect five-star rating from me.
Date of stay: June 2016
Room Tip: Sea-view rooms are worth the additional fee.

This hotel looks impressive from the outside, security is good and the reception is awesome! The front of house staff are very friendly, professional and the welcomed not only us but other guests warmly all at the same time. The rooms are OK but the bathroom was outdated, however, the one in my friends room was very modern. I can only assume they are renovating rather slowly! The bed is comfortable, but the bedsheets/covers need to be replaced as although they are clean, they have seen better days. Had to call reception a few times to sort out the Wi-Fi and they were pretty quick to do this. Also, the a/c had to be turned on from reception and it did take quite some time for the room to cool down. The biggest plus of this hotel is the balcony with sea view, they have large patio doors which gives a great view of the sea any time of the day/night. Very serene indeed at night....no late night revellers or any other noise from fellow guests, but we did go at low season.
The ice cream/coffee place in the lobby has the most friendliest hospitality staff I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. They certainly know their stuff and they can teach other people a thing or three about "knowing your customer". They offer complimentary airport transfer which is very good and efficient. Overall, I would certainly stay here again. Well done to the management team.

Room tip: To get a good view of the beach, stay on the top 2 floors

This hotel is good to stay if you book for sea side view with balcony room. the biggest disadvantage is it has no direct passage to go to the beach. you have to take a road beside the hotel to reach sea beach. Room services are very good. during off season please burgain for room price. Also try to book upper level room for nice sea view.

Cox's Bazar is said to have the world's longest natural beach. Enticing as this looked, I was there for business, but it is the reason for the town's popularity among Bangladeshi tourists. This hotel is clean, comfortable and well-run, with a small but pleasant outdoor pool. There is a decent choice at breakfast, and though I didn't eat there in the evenings, there are many good restaurants nearby.

Room tip: Ask for a sea view

I've been to Washington DC and Vegas but I must say this hotel is definitely on par with those in the states. The hotel staff welcomes you with delicious sweet melon drink as you enter their artsy hotel lobby. The staff is extremely helpful and can speak English well. We got a superior deluxe room which was still spacious even after you added an extra bed. It had a balcony and a nice view of the ocean.
The bathrooms were nice and clean with a built-in hair dryer.
You get free breakfast which is a buffet of both English and Indian items. It's held in the curry leaf restaurant where we had the grilled pomfret, lobster, Kalo bhuna etc for lunch. These were extremely well prepared and delicious!
The BBQ on the roof wasn't as good though. Wifi wasn't as good. The hotel provided transportation to wherever we wanted to go. The hotel has it own gym, spa and pool. Unfortunately cyclone Roanu was brewing in the bay of bengal when we went so it was raining nonstop.
However it gives us all the more reason to visit once more.
