Our stay at the Barracuda Hotel was an absolute delight. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Every detail of the hotel has been thoughtfully designed, from the beautiful spaces to the charming design touches.

The culinary experience was outstanding, with amazing fresh food (especially locally caught seafood) and expertly crafted cocktails and mocktails. We also enjoyed the hotel’s boat tour which included a fantastic BBQ featuring freshly caught fish along the coastline.

For those interested in water sports, the hotel offers excellent surfing lessons with professional instructors, perfect for both beginners and those looking to improve their skills.

It’s abundantly clear how much love and care the owners and team have invested in creating this exceptional experience.

I don’t know where to begin on this place. Perfection is the only way to describe it. The hotel is located in the lushest nature you can imagine, but within walking distance of the tropical paradise town of Itacaré, which is cute, fun and safe. The beach next to the hotel (which is public) is picture perfect. The hotel and grounds are pristine. We stayed at villa 21, and had a team of 6 housekeepers and cooks in rotating shifts from 6:30 am to 10:00 pm, who were incredibly sweet and catered to our every needs. We had the most incredible meals cooked for us - it takes some work choosing all the options in advance, but once there everything is taken care of and the feeling is one of absolute serenity, peace and relaxation. I have never experienced anything like it. Try as I might, I can’t find any fault with this place. In absolute figures, it’s expensive. But looking at what you get for the money, it’s a deal. I’m so grateful for the experience, and will be back. Thank you to the whole team at the Barracuda.

Beautiful setting (lush tropicals greens with seaview), ideal location between beaches and town (all walking distance) great staff, amazing experiences (surf, boat…) & delicious food. Home away from home! Would recommend this place 100%.
