I went with my wife (at that time, my girlfriend) and chose the place to propose her to be with me for my entire life! It was the perfect place: climate, food, Prainha (the beach next to the hotel's beach) as one of the most beatifull beaches in Brazil, lots of Palm Trees! A perfect resort for resting and getting rid of all your problems! Also amazing waves for those that are Surf lovers as I am!
Poorly trained staff, everything falling apart. Do not be fooled by the pictures. All the 5 star reviews must have been paid for. That's the only reasonable explanation. I went to brazil to stay in a paradise and what i found was a little piece of something that had nothing
i asked a simple question on their instagram page after hearing about them not having wifi. they actually blocked me for asking anything. incredible, rude, zero concept of customer service.
note that dogs are not welcome at this resort UNLESS you happen to be famous and brazilian. then your pitbull can wander around the property without a leash.
i absolutely love Brazil, adore Bahia, but it has a ton of other places you can go - stay somewhere where you will be valued as a customer. this place is not it.
Beautiful landscape, between the sea and the forest. You can stay in the hotel or in a chalet into the forest, with litle monkey lion tamarin close to you, in the outdoor hot tub. About the beach, (São José), exclusive and isolated, the service is very welland and the atmosphere is one of peace and tranquility. Relax and enjoy. The chalets are equipped with a mini kitchen where you can make your own meals. If you don't, call a transfer and go to the city, when are a lot of good restaurants, with some tastes of all Brasil, and of Bahia. The weather is so hot and wet. We like so much.
Can't say enough how much I liked this place. It is not my first time in Bahia, nor will it be my last. Took a week out from business travel to Salvador and came here to Itacare to relax. The location is fantastic, food was perfect. I had a headcold at the time, but even so, found it to be a great place with good nature all around.
