Despite the very tranquil and lush (fronting th gardens and pool) seating areas, the lunch buffets and a la carte offerings are very ordinary and pricing seems more targeted to unsuspecting out of towners, definitely not in line with local restaurant pricing.

It’s a pity that food quality is not better as the setting is quite pleasant and very tropical. Service is also attentive and staff are pleasant.

Day use pool usage pricing is also steep despite being able to offset what you spend at the restaurant for the pool cover charge.

This hotel and it’s restaurants are plagued by same problem in many hotels in Cebu who believe they should price high while unfortunately under delivering on quality.

We didn't stay at the resort, just visited for a few drinks at the rooftop bar to enjoy an amazing sunset. The staff were great - Changi in particular was really friendly and supportive of our efforts to avoid plastic straws and cocktail stirrers. He's doing a great job, and we appreciate his awareness in this area because as foreign visitors, the plastic pollution problem in the Philippines is very confronting and heartbreaking. We would have loved to see this place using metal or bamboo straws instead, or would be better if they enforced a 'no plastic straw policy'. We would also have liked to see some more vegetable options on the menu - like most local places, every dish was heavy on meat and fish. We feel that nowadays alot of travellers are searching for plant-based options and I couldn't recommend this place based on that. However just for a drink with a view and a smile this place was great.

We were greeted and offered the balcony next to the pool when we arrived at Cebu White Sands Resort & Spa. The rooms were in excellent location next to the bar and restaurant. The view is amazing and I was relaxing while enjoying a Margarita near the beach. My girlfriend chose to swim in the sea which was very clean. The staff was courteous and was always ready to help and give advice. The bed is big and comfy. The staff was good and the view was tremendous. The outside pool looks amazing as it lit up at night.

Rooms are nice. Very Clean. But the wifi signal was pretty bad there. Although there was a beach, you would not swim there. Too many ships were nearby.
Facial was really good and the price was competitive, but Thai Massage was not real Thai massage. Quite different from traditional one. In General, it's ok but not to the point we would want to go back.

Room tip: Clean, Quiet

Decided to treat myself to this hotel my last night. All I can say is. If you ever go Cebu Philippines... NEVER stay here. Not accommodating, hidden fees, pool was small and dirty, beach was small and dirty, the pool view suite was of trees and due to construction (lot of banging) had to walk down to the basement to get to my room from the lobby with only a sign saying sorry. I should have checked out after the first 15 minute but this place was close to the airport & cost me more than staying 5 nights in a nicer place earlier in the week. Goe to another nearby hotel if you are going to spend the money.

Room tip: Choose another hotel until they finish construction and improve the pool.
