It appears the staff is only interested in people who have been here before & has no interest in new guests. On a good note, sun bed allocation is brilliant. Sea view room, excellent. 4x4 trip well worth while. Best member of staff is Theresa from Gothenburg, Sweden. Made us feel very welcome & always smiling.

just got back from here 17/06/12.was put in room 326.was woken early every morning by the jack hammer from the building site below. and relentless beeping from the forklift truck reversing warning siren, take some ear plugs just in case you are unlucky enough to be put in this room.

Room Tip: refuse room 326

Money well spent, we had a fantastic holiday, the food was exceptional, service outstanding, cleanliness of the whole Hotel perfect.
Staff on all levels friendly and polite and very helpful.
We did not request a sea view room, so we did not get one, what we got was very spacious and on the side of the Hotel nearest to the building work, we had no complaint, the double glazing was very efficient. The builders seemed to stop work around 3pm, it did not upset our Holiday in any way, because, we were enjoying the beautiful swimming pool.
We have stayed in a lot of Hotels, and it was a delight to find, that the coffee was very good, and very hot every morning.

We went to the Sunrise Beach Hotel as we were part of a wedding taking place at the hotel for 1 wwwk 3-10 June . We had booked a Full Sea View room over 12 months before our departure date.

On arrival late night at the hotel we checked in and we handed a letter from the hotel asking us to see reception in the morning regarding our booking. On opening our room door I could see we had not been allocated the correct room we had a limited sea view but mostly could just see the hotel next door. So we were unable to unpack not knowing what was happening on going back to recepton I was told nothing could be done the staff were not helpful at all

After breakfast the following morning we saw the duty manager who offered us to stay in that limited sea view room and they would put us up to half board but possibly couldn't move us til the following day and even then I got the feeling it was a massive inconvenience.

Thomson holidays had not linked our booking as promised as soon as we told the hotel we were with a wedding party they promised to sort it out as soon as possible, with in an hour we had a new Sea view room . I can see the hotel do this all the time and said that Thomson/First Choice had over sold there allocation of sea view rooms. More of the wedding party arrived on Wednesday 6 june and were moved to the sunrise pearl next door due to over booking I believe 10 families in total were moved this is very unfair and thomson/sunrise need to resolve this issue as they are leaving many holiday makers very disappointed

However once resolved the hotel is nice, sea view room was lovely cleaners keep it spotless. Breakfast can not be faulted lots of choice buffet style and all very fresh.

Pool is lovely I emailed ahead and managed to get poolside sunbeds, friends we travelled with were put on the garden sunbeds and got bitten to bits

There was building work going on next door Thomson/First Choice did not inform us of this you could hear it when the patio door to the balcony were open but not at night when they were closed It seemed most of the work was complete at the time we left

Would I go back to this hotel ? probably not I didn't feel it was value for money

The extra facilities found on this second visit made it an even more enjoyable stay. Great staff who couldn't do enough for you. Being infirm, the help in the dining room and elsewhere was excellent. This hotel has a good balance between fun and tranquility. Its locality is perfect for the beach and bars and the new walkway along the edge of the sand makes an evening stroll very enjoyable. Excellent food, good choice, service with a smile! One day hope to return. Highly recommended. Roy and Sue, Leicestershire.

Room Tip: Only ever had room overlooking tennis courts, side seaview. Room 311.
