We (6 in all) have just been to Old Brickworks for our 6 weekly get together and we were all impressed with the restaurant, food and staff.

Staff were helpfull and more than happy for us to change our table to one in the conservatory (only because where we were originally was a little dark) .

Atmosphere is relaxed and the restaurant is clean and inviting.

Drinks menu is pretty varied, plenty of the usual beers, ciders, spirits, wines available, we hade 2 bottles of their house white which for a change was very palatable.

Look out for the food Menu tho if you go saturday/sunday as it was a little confusing because some deals/meals are only available monday to friday and tho this is stated on the menu it's not 100% clear to start, don't no why they don't just have separate menus?.

Between us we had Fish & Chips, Smothered Chicken, Lasagne, Chicken Goujons and Pork chop all of which were very nice and everyone had more than enough to eat. (I was hoping to have Goan veg Curry but as it was not available so on recommendation i had the pork chop and was not dissapointed) also had portion of onion rings (16) to share which were very good. Meals average £7 each. We made use of the whaky warehouse which, on a wet day, was brilliant entertainment for grandson.

All in all we were all happy with out visit/meal at the Brickworks and would be more than happy to go again. Give it a go!

PS - i did book a table (for 12.30) a couple of days prior to our visit but they weren't too busy to be honest and we would have got table straight away even if we had not booked.

During a short stay at the adjacent Premier Inn, my husband & I dined at this Brewers Fayre. We also enjoyed breakfast here on the following morning.

The menu is varied with a good choice of dishes to suit most tastes. The prices are very reasonable. Staff members are friendly, welcoming & efficient. There is a large carpark here.

Breakfast, either Full English or Continental, is on offer here. Porridge is an option, too. The service is quick & the food well presented.

This eatery is highly recommended. Try it.

Love this pub/restaurant. The two meals for £10 is brilliant and the curry buffet is better than a lot of other pubs manage (in my opinion)
