The hotel is new and part of it is still under construction. The quality of the construction is decent by local standard. All rooms have the same size window, which is a standard size. So if you book an ocean facing room your window will be small and not very good for enjoying the view. We stayed in a suite with was a larger room but still only one room not two like the word suite implies. There are plenty of power outlets in the room, which is nice, but there are none by the bed for the lights. The bathroom is a little small with only a piece of glass to separate the shower from the rest of the bathroom with no door. You will end up with a wet bathroom floor, which is common in Indonesia. The sink does not have much room to set your bathroom supplies and the mirror is set low so you have to stoop to see your face.
The beach in front of the hotel is not good for swimming. It is shallow for many meters when the tide is out you can walk way out in the mucky bottom.
We had complimentary breakfast with are room that was served in the covered open dinning area facing the ocean. It is a very pleasant place when the weather is nice. When the weather is not nice or it is windy there is no place to hide from it. The days we were there it was a little breezy which kept the flames from properly heating the breakfast food in the warmers resulting in cold food. The breakfast choices are common local foods. I was surprised to see only one kind of fruit offered every day. I was concerned about eating food that had been sitting out in a cold warmer for an unknown amount of time so I asked if they could make me an omelet and they had no problem accommodating my special request.
All of the staff I encountered was friendly and helpful and wanted to make your stay a good one.
The major bummer for me is they advertised Internet and did not have any in the hotel anywhere.
Since it is a new hotel you should call and confirm that they have what you want since the brochures seem to advertise what they will have when complete.
It is a decent hotel and if you want a room on the island and plan to spend your days seeing the local sites. If you want a nice swimming beach or great ocean views from your room or a resort setting you might want to consider other properties.
