Frankly I didn't know what this place is until I reached here. It was listed in my travel guide written in Bahasa Indonesia. Since it's near to the Andrea Hirata Musuem and the Laskar Pelangi SD Muhammadiyah, I thought why don't I stop by.
It's a legacy water gate system left by the Dutch. There are 16 gates controlling the water flow of the Sungai Linggang. The surroundings vegetation on both sides of the river are quite pleasant.
