If you look at the price it should be much more of a hotel, much more of house made food and pride in products. But No!
Hotel is simple, feels more like a cottage! Fresh and clean but basic!
Restaurant BBQ is ok but almost everything is " ready to serve", No or little house made food exept meat and boring salmon package. High in price for little effort from kitchen!

Have so far spent first night in this miserable place that we have booked for two nights.

The room is on ground floor with a walkway just outside offers a view of the neighboring buildings ... so much for privacy and natural beauty! When you leave the bathroom you better be dressed or be happy to show yourself. Check the pictures ... have omitted those with people as the other guests shouldn't be exposed.

When we came back before midnight the hotel was locked down, the reception was closed and the employee inside refused to open the door so we could communicate.

In our room the advertised minibar contained two bottles of mineral water ... it was free but calling mineral water for a stocked minibar is stretching it even by North Korean standards.

There was no heat in the bathroom and the towel dryer was freezing. The towels were tarnished and there was neither soap bar nor shampoo for shower. The shower curtain is to small to cover and no rug on freezing floor.

They advertise as a luxury resort in a natural park ... and the park is beautiful ... but I have seen more luxury and service in an Rome B&B at 1/4 this price. The jacuzzi was closed and only a community sauna was open ... not much resort there!

Only consolation is "free" wifi ... but at SEK 1,595 (EUR 166) a night I have a hard time counting it as free considering it's my only positive experience.

Last point for news hungry the advertised cable tv is only a few local channels so no international news.

One dot for nature is very unfair but the points are given for hotel only. Do go and take a walk in the park (remember sneakers or trekking boots) ... but use the public parking and save your money for a hotel in Båstad instead!

The location of the hotel is great, right on the coastline. The food and the rooms are good.
We stayed two nights and the main purpose was to hike in the surroundings and just enjoy the weekend. The hike can be quite challenging especially if you go down on the beach among the rocks and I recommend real boots and possibly a walking stick for balance. For those who like old Swedish movies, you can look up the Seventh Seal recording site when death is playing chess.

One of the most scenic hotel I stayed at in Sweden. You're one with nature. We had no time to make walkabouts but this is a place to explore.

Warm and friendly staff, gentle and nice touch we felt welcome.

Rooms nice with friendly and welcoming details.

Restaurant with a spectacular view.

From the look of the menu and wine list does it look like chef have set the target high. Everything proudly farmed in surroundings.
Started white fish roe as starter-delicious.
Plaice as main, flat fish which is a delicatessen in this region. Season also perfect for potatoes, freshly harvested from the field. Presentation was nice however taste did not hit high. Fish was either cooked or dead to long, dry. Potatoes was not ripe out from the soil, a bit watery and dull.

Desert also a bit uninspiring.

However good thing is with target set high, always room for improvements.

All in all, go there and live there for some nights.

We were 4 people and in addition we brought 2 small doggos with us. We requested a table outside, which startled the young waitors, but it was allright. They treated us well and the sallad buffe and the fish dish was exquisite.

Disclaimer: if one wouldn't have liked lobster sauce to the fish, there was lamb racks to choose ;)

Be aware that it is kinda pricey :) but the view is STUNNING
