Stumbled in from the snow and cold for some lunch couldn't have chosen a better place. Food was excellent, service friendly and quick. We both had the Goulash with dumplings and was the perfect meal to warm us through, would recommend.

We caught the cable car from Bolzano to find this restaurant. The food was delicious The service from the owner was friendly and professional. We went back a second time to have freshly baked apple strudel and coffee for morning tea served in the garden . A great family run restaurant we highly recommend

Visited here for lunch on 2 consecutive days and the difference was very noticeable.

The first visit was on a very wet Sunday. Unfortunately we had not booked and when we arrived the restaurant was full with several other people waiting. There are limited options for dining in Soprabolzano so we decided to wait. It appeared chaotic but the young man in charge had everything well under control and we were seated after about a 20 minute wait.

Our food being a mushroom risotto and schnitzel with potatoes was very good. The desserts including the Tirimasu were also very tasty. Notwithstanding that the restaurant was packed, the service was very good.

Next day we revisited for lunch again. It was a sunny day and we were seated on the terrace with a great view over the surrounding mountains. The meals on this occasion where a turkey salad, which was tasty, and two schnitzels which were overcooked and came without any lemon. We asked a waitress for some lemon and after 5 minutes went by went into the bar area to get some ourselves and were given a quarter of a lemon for both dishes - obviously a shortage of lemons that day.

The restaurant was not as busy as the day before and yet the service and the food was not as good. I wonder if it was not just a coincidence that the excellent young man from the day before was not there.

Friendly staff and tasty wiener schnitzel and strudel. Not expensive and a lovely place to have lunch in a lovely setting. Adorable pug too!

Our second time coming here. A little out of the way to get up the hill, but worth it.

We had the gnocchi and risotto both time. Excellent. Quick service.
