If you love wine and are near the Amalfi coast in Italy you must schedule a visit here. It's one of those "off the beaten path" gems! Their wine is amazing -- just spectacular -- due to thick vines that look like trees and are hundreds of years old. Great tour and wine tasting -- you definitely will buy several cases to ship home. AN ABSOLUTE MUST Go !!!!

This place gives a good first impression but doesn't bear up to closer scrutiny when one realises its mostly geared up to weddings, events and local tourism.

The most attractive feature is the pool and surrounding garden, but when we arrived at 11.30am all the sunbeds were taken as there are not enough. I found some stacked behind the pool, but it turned out that they were broken! Luckily after lunch 2 beds vacated but there were no sun umbrellas!

During school holiday time the pool is mostly taken up by Italian families with very noisy children, so it might not be ideal for you unless you also have noisy children.

The garden looks very nice until one notices that the lawn is fake, and mostly taken up by a big wedding marquee, so there isn't much space to place a sunbed or even walk around. The hotel seems smart but on the side of the pool there's a row of holiday apartments that seem scrufffier and attract a different type of tourist,

There's no WiFi reach in the garden, and it's very iffy in the bedrooms, as is the very small TV which only shows Italian stations when you can get it to work properly. In fact the hotel makes no bones about only catering to Italian tastes, like the towels which are like nice linen dishcloths - the old Italian style. When we asked if we could have towelling towels for the pool none were available.

The rooms are huge but lack natural daylight, so they feel a bit depressing. The location is cut off, so of course a car is a must. There are no views of any sort, so improvements to the garden would help.

since the place is obviously used for weddings and events, it would help to check if anything is being held during your stay, as during our one day here, we had music blaring all afternoon until 6pm.

As for the staff, the waitresses were brilliant, not so the management. When we explained that we had to leave early due to my mother having had a stroke, the manageress just muttered something and walked off! Zero marks for care for gurests!

Room tip: Ask for a room overlooking the garden and that no events are scheduled for your stay.

Arrived at what seemed to be a lrage empty Italian ponderosa, but soon warmed to the charm of the place and the staff. The small hotel doubles as a large conference / reception hotel complex with huge rooms which give it a Tardis feel. Excellent pool and centre for this part of Puglia.. The staff are amazing from the maitre d'i in the farmhouse breakfast room to the welcoming and helpful reception and restarunt staff, good value for money. We enjoyed the beach at St margarita d'i savoia, Trani old town and the Gargonola peninsula, but not at the weekend when all Italy goes to the Coast.

This hotel reminded us very much of paradors in Spain - it dates from the 17th century and was originally a vineyard owner's house that has been extended. The building was beautiful and the house where we had breakfast was full of wonderful antiques and paintings. The gardens are very extensive and really lovely. There weren't many people staying when we were there so it was extremely peaceful despite being just down a drive from the main road. There is a lovely pool but as it was early in the season the loungers had not been cleaned properly or the ashtrays emptied but I imagine that would be done in June. We ate dinner in Barletta so cannot comment on the restaurant and breakfast was adequate. We had difficulty finding the hotel both initially and on our return from dinner in Barletta so if you stay here make sure you know exactly via Google maps where it is. The confusion arose from the fact that there is an old SS16 road and also a new SS16 road. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

It´s definitely a nice structure, safe, with a large parking, offering all the comfort you could need, but at least for me it misses a charm. In this region you could find many marvellous structures and to compete you could have something particular which I haven´t found here.
The rooms are fine, not perfectly soundproof, Wi-Fi is working, the bathroom was clear and with all the amenities. The breakfast was a bit disappointing, I expected more variety for such a place, there wasn´t any hot dish.
I appreciated the fact that the internal restaurant was opened also during the weekdays in the off-season period.
Regarding the staff I found it very professional, able to serve you.
