We stayed three nights at Manoir d'à côté which is a separate building two blocks away from the primaire hôtel La Pecherie. We were housed in a modern garden room. Beautiful decoration, comfortable bed, nice bathroom with rani shower.

Staff is pleasant and room Washington always very clean.

We stayed in the hotel itself, not the manoir. We had an attic room which was very well equipped, and decorated in a modern style.Room was scrupulously clean, with separate shower room and toilet.. Access was through the hotel or up a side staircase, and the staff were very friendly and helpful- excellent wifi.
Hotel restaurant had an excellent variety of menus , with fresh fish featuring heavily, Courseulles being a fishing port. Dining was possible in the conservatory, indoors, or outside. Very good cooking, though wine list expensive.

Room tip: Cote Pierre on top floor slightly bigger than others

We spent 2 nights in the manoir ( very close to the hotel ) in the "mon grenier". The room was very nice and practical. A private parking is a positive plus. The restaurant also deserves a recommandation. The staff is friendly and helpful. Wifi is very, very good.
Two small minuses are a) not enough space in the bathroom to put own stuff b) the door cannot be closed from the inside.

We checked in here on spec for one night and were very impressed. The room was lovely and comfortable with some unusual and clever decorations. The location is great, we were just having an evening on the coast before our ferry home early next morning. So in half a day we visited the Caen Memorial before getting to Courseulles, had a rest in our room, walked the beach, saw the amazing fresh fish stalls, had a beer in the sun and then a fantastic meal, great nights sleep before a 15 minute drive to Ouistreham, and back to Portsmouth 1.15pm. We didn't end up eating in the Pecheri restaurant but it looked great. You have to visit here just to answer the question - what is it with the clocks everywhere??

Room tip: Worth having one of the named larger rooms, ask for a late deal

Spent 3 nights here over last weekend. Actually had rooms in the Manoir, just 300 metres or so around the corner. The rooms were compact but very nicely decorated and fitted out. We enjoyed the private parking and the quiet little park area behind the Manoir. Had dinner at La Pecherie on our first night and it was very good indeed. Would definiteley recommend this place, but note that the "ground floor" rooms in the Manoir have a small flight of steps to reach them.

Room tip: Didn't see the rooms in the main hotel, but our rooms in Le Manoir were very good.
