I visited Oasis Marigot in early October, and stayed in Villa St. Lucia. From start to finish, we were extremely impressed with all that Oasis offered. The staff were quite pleasant and extremely helpful, going beyond our expectations to make our trip a great experience. The villa was lovely, spacious and clean, and had all of the amenities we could need to make our trip comfortable and enjoyable. The outdoor area (pool and patio) were also well maintained! The villa is perfectly situated close to the beach, Doolittle's restaurant and other bars and restaurants in the area, ensuring that we were well entertained throughout our weekend stay. There was just enough around that we were always occupied, but not overly busy. I would definitely recommend Oasis to travelers or locals who are looking to have a relaxing and enjoyable vacation.

Thank you to the staff for such a pleasant experience! I will certainly be visiting again.

Room tip: Villa St. Lucia is the closest villa to the beach!

Hi Kae, wow, it really seems like you made yourself at home here in the bay. And you said it best, "The villa is perfectly situated close to the beach... There was just enough around that we were always occupied, but not overly busy."

It's true, Marigot Bay is a wonderful little gem in St. Lucia (and all of the Caribbean), where you can come just to relax and enjoy the views, play at the beach a little, or explore some of the things we have to do in the area. There's not "too much" here to obscure anyone's relaxation, but there's enough to ensure there's everything you need for a perfect stay, right here.

If you ever decide to come back to St. Lucia, we'd be happy to welcome you "home"! ;)

I booked the Great House for a first time visit ot St. Lucia through Oasis Marigot. From my initial inquires about availability through our arrival, Oasis assisted with airport transfers, provision shopping in advance of our arrival and general information on the island and tours. Emails were addressed promptly and provided all information requested or more than answered general questions. Oasis made the process totally painless. We can't wait for our return trip! Highly recommended!!

Room tip: The Great House is amazing!

"Oasis made the process totally painless." - great! We strive to be the "cocierge-like provider of villa rentals in St. Lucia", meaning we help with the whole process where it's way more than "just a set of keys". So it's wonderful to hear you've appreciated this point.

If you ever decide to come back our way, please let us know and we'll have The Great House ready! :)

The Oasis at Marigot bay was an excellent choice for a week long get away during the beginning of September.
The first thing worth mentioning is how helpful the staff were. There was nothing they wouldn't do to make our trip enjoyable. I am thinking specifically of the staff in the office. They helped with suggestions for activities and with scheduling them, in addition to making arrangements for transportation to and from the event.
The second thing that was wonderful was the actual villa itself. It was simple and clean and had wonderful views out over the bay that were a joy to see every morning whilst sitting on the balcony sipping my morning cup of tea.
Other thing that were of note included a number of restaurants that are pretty good and cover the range from atmospheric, the Rainforest cafe, to convenient and tasty, Doolittles, and nice laid back atmosphere.

Room tip: as bugs are prevalent in St. Lucia regardless of room choice, make sure you have citronella candles to help keep you bug and bite free!

When the first positive note you mention is our staff, that really means a lot to us. Our staff have literally been with us for an average of 15 years (yes, it's true) and so we value them like family. So wonderful to hear, thank you! :)

And then of course, the villa & view lol. Great to hear you enjoyed these so and that you could experience the little treasures of a place like this by sitting on the balcony, sipping a coffee and watching the boats go by.

As a note for medquitos you mentioned, it does depend on season. September through to October is the rainy season so there tend to be more, but we provide citronella candles, bug spray, and all beds have bed netting to help with that.

Thanks again and if you ever come back to St. Lucia, please let us know! :)

We chose this villa to spend our 25th wedding anniversary. After reading the other reviews on Tripadvisor, we decided this was a secluded, private getaway ... just what we were looking for. This place did not disappoint! We had beautiful views from every vantage point. One side of the house viewed the magnificent Marigot Bay and the other side viewed the ocean. We watched boats come in and out of the bay, the beautiful sunrise and sunset. We barely left the house as we wanted seclusion and peace and quiet. We had the pool which we floated in for hours admiring the view and lush foliage. There are many great restaurants at the foot of the hill. We really enjoyed the café next to the Marigot grocery store ... best burgers ever! We rented a car, thankfully because the hill between the house and the restaurants was quite a climb. We're pretty in shape people but that trek was something we didn't want to conquer everyday. The roads were fine to drive on ... you are on the opposite side of the street so something to consider. Urial, the house manager, did a fabulous job making sure we weren't interrupted by the staff. Everyone was very friendly. My husband and I travel frequently, never to the same place twice, but this place has changed our mind!

"After reading the other reviews on Tripadvisor, we decided this was a secluded, private getaway ... just what we were looking for. This place did not disappoint!"

That pretty much says it all! Wow, thank you so much. It's true, the Emerald Hill Villa has probably some of the best views in St. Lucia. No matter how great a photographer or videographer we send there, the pics/videos never do it justice.

And... "My husband and I travel frequently, never to the same place twice, but this place has changed our mind!"

I can't tell you how much that means to us, truly! If you ever wish to come back, please let us know and we'll ensure it was as wonderful as the first.

My husband and I visited late August early September which is the off season, not too busy but hot. Stayed in Villa 6. Views were beautiful. We had little feathered visitors, they love bananas, and the resident kitty who loves the Irish Cheddar we bought from the grocery across the bay. The villa is open air so I recommend the AC in the bedroom if you visit in the off season. Mosquitoes were tough but management provided BOP to spray and help control. The unit is nicely equipped and laundry service helped out greatly. Very relaxing atmosphere. You will hear all the nightly noises- birds, crickets, and music from restaurants on the Bay. The management staff are very friendly and helpful. Let them schedule your taxis and excursions. Otherwise you may pay more than a fair amount. The stairs are steep and you will come to love the funicular no matter how long the wait. Truly. We walked the stairs twice, and done. There are several great restaurants to try. Masala, Doolittle's, Capella, Rowley's, and Rainforest were our favorites. Avoid Chateau Mygo. VERY BAD experience there and cannot recommend, at all! The owner responded to my review and lied in so many ways. Very expensive and unfriendly. Beware. The Good Stuff- St Lucia Helicopters, Endless Summer Catamaran cruise, Zip lining in Rainforest was awesome!! Alex, our water taxi, gave us many exciting tours on the way to Castries and waited for us while we shopped. One trip to Castries was enough. The north sail was great and we snorkeled at Rodney Bay. Ate great local food at Dove's outside of Pigeon Bay. The Cruise to the Pitons and Soufriere was beautiful. Ate at Fondue Plantation, visited the volcano and Diamond Falls. The grocery in Marigot Bay is sufficient and worth not taking the taxi out of the area. Rowley's had great breakfast! The public beach is nice but beware of the locals who want to sell you any and everything. Just firmly say no and walk away. Alfred, a local, was very nice and helpful. Such a sweet soul. Avoid Noel. Over all we enjoyed our visit. We just highly recommend avoiding Chateau Mygo. Exchange currency for local EC so you pay fairly and aren't over charged. There is a bank across the bay by the grocery. St Lucia is quite expensive compared to other Caribbean islands.

Hi Jeannette,

Thank you for your thorough review of so many aspects! I'm sure this is very helpful for a lot of people. It's nice to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us in our little bay here. It seems you've also appreciated all the little things that add to the 'Caribbean charm' of our place here, like the beautiful views of the bay, the little tram that takes you up and down the hillside, the noises of nature at night, and more.

Very good of you to share so much about restaurants and activities as well. Many of what you speak of (including all restaurants) are not owned or operated by Oasis Marigot, so just to clarify for those whom it may not be clear for, the only activity we essentially operate ourselves is the North & South Day Sail Tours, which is always a favorite among guests. However, we offer a "concierge-like villa rental stay" where we are always happy to help you arrange every part of your stay - from taxis, car rentals, activities, restaurants, and more.

Nice to hear you found everything you needed in the bay as well, including groceries. There's also a bank, a few shops, a little bakery, and of course restaurants here in the bay. Always nice when you don't have to travel too far :)

Thanks again for your review and we're constantly improving and upgrading our operations, so if you ever decide to come back to St. Lucia, please let us know and we'll help you find the perfect spot whether it's at one of our villas in Marigot Bay, by the Pitons, or elsewhere! :)
