Beautiful Hotel, But the Manager Carmen Gonzalez Was Horrible”
We had an amazing stay at this hotel - the property is beautiful, rooms are clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, our experience took a turn for the worse at checkout due to the extremely rude and unprofessional behavior of the manager, Carmen Gonzalez.
After we had already checked out and were at our car, Carmen approached us out of nowhere saying she was going to charge us $75 for having a cooler in our room.
This charge was never mentioned before, and we were completely blindsided by it.
When we asked for clarification, Carmen became defensive and started blaming the front desk staff, saying it was their fault for not charging us.
What made the situation worse was witnessing Carmen yell at the staff right in front of us.
It's unfortunate that such a beautiful hotel is being mismanaged by someone who clearly lacks professionalism and respect for guests. The rest of the staff was great, but Carmen's actions were unacceptable. This hotel needs to make serious improvements in their management.
