This is the second year in a row my family has stayed here and it just keeps getting better. Clean and comfortable rooms with a beautiful view see the attached pic of the view from our room) and yummy continental breakfast. The staff and wonderful and the best part (for me) is they allow dogs!!!!More

The room we stayed in (King with Murphy bed suite) was very clean and spacious. The view was amazing. It's pet friendly, which is great for our family. We will definitely be back again when in the area!

I was hesitant to book this hotel at first as it is listed on the HWY.
We were doing a 9 day road trip of North/West Ontario instead of our plans of Europe in these crazy times. "Discover Ontario" Summer for us and we had never ventured to North Bay and area.
Loved it! The resort is on a hill overlooking Callander Bay, just beautiful view from any room We stayed on the second floor which has a long railed porch across all of the rooms so you can stand outsite and enjoy the view.
The rooms are super clean and very spacious and a great price at $125 a night for a Queen. You have a separate leaving area with small kitchen area (sink, microwave, coffee machine), separate bedroom and a private deck out the back overlooking the parking lot and forest.
You don't hear the HWY from your room and realistically its 2 lanes and limited traffic, all you really look at is the expanse of Callander Bay.
We ate at the restaurant and they really did the COVID spacing well, all the doors to the outside patio were open.
We had an incredible meal - Huge steak dinner with extra mushrooms, amazing appetizer and their cesear salad was wonderful. We also ordered a bottle of wine that was out of stock, but they provided an even nicer one at a reduced cost. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, food and the service, they really care about their customers. Note, you need to make reservations for dinner.
After dinner we went out to the fire pit, it was just us! Very nice touch.
I would highly recommend this gem in the woods.

We love the view of Lake Nipissing but mostly we love Marina,her staff and the cleanliness....I’m a clean freak and this resort is top notch.
We bring our chairs and sip wine on the veranda...heaven!
A few things to know....
All rooms face the lake!
Request first floor if you have trouble doing stairs,although the view on the second floor is amazing!
Make a reservation...it’s usually booked up.
LCBO in Callander is 5min.away
They have a good restaurant on site with friendly service and great food..mostly Pub fare. Outdoor /indoor seating with a view of the sunset. Opens at 5pm
The manager can hook you up with a fishing guide,summer or winter ice fishing.
There is a small walking chip and putt golf course at the resort.

Terrace Suites is the only place I stay when going to Callander. The view is spectacular. The rooms are beyond comfortable with fireplace that can be viewed from the living room and bedroom. The Manager Marina is just a sweet heart...she goes out of her way to please everyone. I plan a return visit very shortly!!

This is the FIRST time I have ever written a review while STILL in the place. I was so taken by the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the place, and the wonderful suite provided. It had everything we needed and was spacious and very well appointed. WOW. It's November and cold and snowy and we were up here in North Bay on business, but I can imagine it would be absolutely stunning in the summer, just from what I saw as I entered. Exellent, excellent, excellent, is all I can say. A great in=suite fireplace. A spacious suite with everything provided. A great little restaurant with delicious food attached and friendly service. Everything is amazing. Book here and you won't be disappointed. WOW. JUST AMAZING ... a real pleasure.
