This hotel is not only beautiful, it’s clean and modern. I suffer from allergies, and had no problems staying in this hotel. The rooms are well decorated and large enough for two people. It was a relief after Paris’s hotel rooms.
The hotel restaurant is superb, not only for dinner but breakfast as well. The Montrachet area is very relaxing, and surrounded by vineyards. Bring your walking shoes, you will want to explore the area.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Suite Michelle which had a beautiful out door patio surrounded by artistic gardens.

This hotel offers a quiet, high class environment with an excellent restaurant. Our room was of good size, and very well maintained. Bathroom was generous. We noticed that, probably due to the building structure and history, the floors creak a bit, so better to book a top floor room if possible if that is an issue. Having said that, movement of guests in the hotel when we visited did not create much noise. The restaurant is first class - food choice and quality at a high level. The wine list is comprehensive and our sommelier (Andre) did a first class job on quality control. The hotel has a beautiful garden setting on the side, to enjoy a quiet drink. Overall, first class.

Quiet, near enough to Beaune and wineries. Very friendly staff, grounds and sense of solitude excellent. Our room was not expensive and thus quite small. AC was difficult to get working. Bedding, linens excellent. Our 2nd time here, next time will go for a larger room. Decor and soft goods in room getting a little dated.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful Burgundy village. Fabulous service from beginning to end. Dinner was exceptional as was breakfast. Our room was small stuffy and dark but the food and service more than made up for it. Super place.

After more than 25 years of coming here we did so again recently. This time we were in the Villa Christine because 'our' usual room was not available as we had booked at short notice. The room we had instead - thank you - was quite wonderful: modern, spotless, archi-comfortable, spacious and with a great view into the square. The aperitifs and dinner were a treat. They alway are, but this time it was, if anything, even better than usual. The wine list is superb and mostly affordable, and the menus are delicious, generous, and great value for money.
The cadre and ambiance of the dining room are among the very best I know and the staff are attentive and helpful. I only wish that there were a few more full-fledged vegetarian options. Perhaps even a vegetarian menu? Just a suggestion. My wife occasionally struggles to find suitable non-meaty dishes. But for us meat and fish eaters it is hard to think of better food anywhere.
Breakfast is a lovely experience: a generous selection of charcuterie, omelettes, croissants, jams, etc and all of it superbly clean and appetising. The best thing about a day on the motorway, at least for us, is the prospect at the end of the day of this terrific hotel and restaurant, situated in the most famous wine village in Burgundy.

Room Tip: We loved discovering the Villa Christine where we had room 53 overlooking the square (there are 4 ro...

This is my second time to stay in this lovely hotel & I can not recommend it highly enough. I stayed in a junior sweet (no balcony) but a nice view of the square. The bed was very comfortable with nice pillows & linens. The bathroom was huge with a large rain shower & great, fluffy towels, a bathtub, lighted makeup mirror, heated towel rack & even a plastic bench one could put in the shower if they had mobility issues. The toilet was in a separate area with a small sink. The minibar was nicely stocked. Seating area was comfortable as well & very pretty. The maid service was top notch! I ate in the restaurant for my birthday & it was excellent, both the service & the food. (The escargot is the best I have ever eaten.) I also enjoyed the breakfast each morning. The weather allowed me to sit on the patio several mornings. It's beautiful there. They have a nice wine selection you can purchase in the main lobby. While not inexpensive I felt the price was fair for the quality of the room, level of service & comfort.

It was a pleasure to stay in a hotel that values the tradition of excellent and warm service. The bed room was very comfortable and overall hotel ambience matched the overall experience. We look forward to our next stay.
