We went for lunch on a Sunday.
Only a few tables were occupied.
The food was good accept for my octopus leg which was partly over barbecued; read blackened.
Although I did not complain, in my opinion they should not serve it like this. My wife’s octopus was much better.
The size of the octopus was small for a main course.
My daughter took a carpaccio starter as main course and although the waitress said it was small it seemed bigger than my octopus.
Service is good and the waitress is really nice and attentive.

Thank Mark P

We were slightly surprised that this place was at the top of the rating. The service was fine and there was one especially pleasant and friendly waitress but otherwise the food wasn’t anything really special. We had nice fried octopus, but tomato salad consisted of several slices of tomato topped with a bit of avocado and a few tiny (defrosted?) pieces of shrimp. Diced tuna felt somewhat chemically flavoured (perhaps to cover up the fact that the fish wasn’t really fresh?). To sum up, not bad, not particularly good either.

Service was excellent, enthusiastic, friendly and everything you could ask for. When translation was a problem, out came their ipad translator.
The food was good and they took great care to prepare and present well. Nothing fancy just good quality. The restaurant was well decorated and had a good feel to it and the night was memorable becauae of the efforts of the chef and waitress.

We were very lucky to get in here on a Saturday night without a reservation, but glad we did. The restaurant has a tapas menu and a 'from the grill' menu. Food is cooked on an open charcoal grill in the restaurant. Menus in English are available.

We chose food from the grill - breaded chicken fillet for our youngest, then a mix of steak, grilled octopus and cod in a lovely mustard and honey sauce (sounds odd, but was delicious) for our other daughter, myself and my husband. Wind was well priced.

The food was good, however felt a tad overpriced for the amount of food we got. Could especially have done with more of the octopus. Atmosphere was good & staff friendly.

The food was very good and served with alarming ghusto by an eager waitress. Initial impression wasn't great; an empty bar with large loud TV blaring a football match. However the food was very good and excellent value. We were presented with an amuse bouche of 4 deep fried balls of squid ink coating/ cod filling. This was followed by 6 croquettes with various fillings - squid, blue cheese, cod, mushroom. These were not bad. Next duck breast which was v good and cod in a mustard sauce which was fine. Green salad was grand. Patatas bravas v good. We had local beers served in ice cold ceramic mugs and these were lovely. Complementary chocolate liquers ended the meal. The bill was an amazing €39. Overall recommended. Would be better without the TV!
