We were early in arriving so initially we were the only ones there. The menu was only in Spanish/Catalan but the waiter couldn't be more helpful talking us through it. Portions are huge so make sure your "eyes aren't bigger than your belly". Everything is grilled when you order on a bbq at the back of the restaurant. Husband had the octopus which he loved. We both shared the onions which were divine. Would definitely recommend. Price range similar to everything else locally. Again - don't over order like us - you can add as you go!

Good place to have meet, salad or vegetables. Octopus was not that good. Prices are adjusted to what they offer.
Kind waiters and nice decoration.

What a gem of a restaurant. Absolutely fantastic atmosphere and decor. Delicious food at very reasonable prices. Packed with people, so making a reservation is probably a safer bet.

We have been meaning to visit this bar for quite a while and Lorraine would like to point out that the location shown on trip advisor is completely wrong and you should just put the address into google maps and follow that. I just blindly followed her.

The menu has a wide range of grilled meats which are cooked on a charcoal grill behind the bar and other dishes which come down the dumb waiter, it is amusing to see the two staff shout orders up the void to the main kitchen. The family sitting beside us had a large grilled steak, which they shared, it looked and smelt divine. We went for the 10E menu del dia. There was only one hand written copy of the menu, which was passed around the bar. I started with tuna and salami salad a combination I certainly wouldn't have thought of, it was very tasty and worked well as it had a nice selection of leaves, shredded onion and olives. Lorraine had avocado hummus, which she wolfed down.

My main course was chips egg and a spicy chicken skewer that wouldn't have tasted out of place if served in a Turkish grill bar is the best compliment I can give it. Lorraine had the omlette which while nice really needed to be served with something such as a small garnish. Our pudding was a pleasant apple tart served with a thick caramalised apple sauce. The pastry base was slightly challenging. The menu included a drink as well. Simply fantastic value for such a nice lunchtime meal.

The decor is Quixotic and I mean this in the nicest possible way. The ceiling looks like the tornado from the Wizard of Oz has flung motorbikes, bikes, agricultural implements and assorted metal items against it, smaller metal items such as horse shoes, number plates and signs have stuck to the wall, the interior walls have soda siphons standing on guard and the wall beside the hatch is covered in large metal keys. Different doesn't really do it justice.

The clientele in this small busy restaurant were as varied as the ceiling they sat under, single men, families with young children, a group of workmen, older retired groups and of course the crazy Inglese. This restaurant has definitely been placed in our current top five places to eat at lunchtime and believe me there is some excellent competition.
