The bungalow is at the head of a steep sided valley with wonderful views of the mountains. It is set apart a little from the intriguing village of Fataga - a simple walk on the road to the village or an attractive jungly path through the trees - I was glad of my walking boots. Sella Sylvia and Alicia were lovely hosts, nothing was too much trouble. When the evening was a little cool we were given extra blankets and a heater, which we only needed on a couple of evenings. One evening all the guests were invited to eat together on the covered terrace - each bringing a dish to share. A lovely convivial atmosphere. Several mornings we started the day with an hour of yoga as the sun warmed us through on the patio. The organic vegetable garden was full of leeks, onions, beetroots, carrots, tomatoes from which we were encouraged to help ourselves. Altogether a lovely relaxing time with really fun people in a stunning environment.
It's a beuatiful green oasis, between mountains, fruittrees and veggies ! The owner Sella is i think the most lovely and easy going person of the whole island :-))). She's for the fully 100procent there for her guests. We shared some nice moments of eating/cooking together, watching the sky at night and talking about life as it is...If you want to sense and experience "love for life OR live for love": just go to ecotara !!!
A must visit place at gran canaria xXx
