Everyone was super friendly, and the food was quick and super yummy open later than the other places which is a great plus when you arrive in the area late!

I have been to The woodsman a few times, its a good place to have a few drinks and east something , the service was good and the food as well but nothing African if you are looking for something exotic.

My husband and I recently spent 3 nights in Sabie and could not have picked better lodging. Firstly, the rooms are quite large with high ceilings, very clean and comfortable. The staff and owners were delightful and on location restaurant was so convenient. There are several close by restaurants within walking distance. The breakfast is included with delicious fruits, yogurts, and eggs made to order. Highly recommend!

Lovely outside setting. Meal was nice - vegetables would have been much better if not drowned in some kind of bland gravy sauce. Otherwise quite acceptable.

Lovely old pub, could have been in England, which is not perhaps what you come to SA for, but it's streets ahead of other SA "pubs" we have seen, and makes a good change.
Nice comfy chairs with lovely polished tables on a covered veranda meant you could eat outside comfortably in September. Oil lamps on tables, very atmospheric.

Pork ribs were meaty, juicy, tasty and massive...with a good helping of veg and potatoes on the side. Lightly fried deboned trout was succulent. So filling, didn't need a starter or pud!. Good Castle draught beer.
