Having been Tenerife many times decided to stay further up coast. Nice hotel, rooms a little basic but clean and for what time you spend in them it was ok. We were all inclusive and could not fault the food, so much choice for every course, no wonder we put on weight. There was inside entertainment at night but as it was warmer than expected we sat outside to drink. Pool areas were good and clean, although policy of not reserving beds by putting on towels was completely ignored. Outside hotel was not really suitable for less mobile, although you could walk for 5-10 mins on flat, the majority of the views were only accessible via stairs or slopes, but were well worth the effort as the sight of the sea rolling onto the rocks was breathtaking. Although we are a mature couple we were able to walk into Los Gigantes and Playa de Arena. If you just want a week to walk, swim in pool, relax with good food and drink then this hotel would suit you. We enjoyed it and it was good value for what we paid.

Room Tip: If not satisfield ask for another room.

Visited the T Tropical in July 2010 2 adults 2 kids. Was not looking fgorward to it after reading the reviews. Paid 1800 for 2 weeks all inclusive so i should have been expecting the worst anyway.
Very surprised indeed. Hotel was nice, room was ok, what you expect from a 2/3 star. Food was very good i thought, plenty to chose from however the food from the bar i.e in the daytime was just greasy burgers and undercooked sausage !!! Bar staff were fine reception was very helpfull. 2 large pools 1 either side of complex. It does however get busy at the weekend when the spanish fill it. They get it cheap like our sun holidays offer i heard ( £9:50 offer ) Sunbeds are a bloody nightmare though they were putting towels on at night , and at night i mean 8 oclock at night !!! I hate that and really bugs me when they dont get used until 3 in the afternoon !grrrrrr i ended up throwing towels off if people wasnt using them by 11 am ( much to the annoyance of my wife ) most of the culprits were spainsh however. The beaches were not very good however, black sand and it was like walking on glass, bloody boiling !!!!! enough to make a grown man cry.... i nearly did. Entertainment for the kids was ok plenty throughout the day if they wanted it and a mini disco at 8:30. Outside entertainment 3 times a week which were good. Take a trip to loro park it was really good but a long trip however so be prepared... All in all a good holiday for the price and its not as bad as people have made out. You get what you pay for basically . Go and enjoy your holiday, it is what you make it.

The rooms are clean and light and airy. The maid service excellent. Loads of hot water whatever time of day you needed it. The food was first class. We were all inclusive and were spoiled for choice at every mealtime. The resort is small but very nice and the sea crashing on the rocks is a sight to see. My only complaint is that ALL loungers had towels on them whenever we went to the pools. It's a shame because the staff are very good at this hotel. A shame someone doesn't just say "Enough" and remove them all on one day. I would definitely go back here though.

Room Tip: Our room was on the ground floor near the pool but had no problem with noise after about 11.30 so I believe any room would be fine.

Just got back from a week's stay here and really enjoyed it. We paid £340 for a week all inc and was definitely worth it. It was definitely alot better than expected after reading a few bad reviews on here!
Our room was very clean at all times and cannot complain at all.
The food was decent enough and was all buffet at set times throughout the day. It was good but some people may say not enough variety.
The entertainment was a bit Butlins but ok especially if you have kids. They do activities in the day for the adults and kids and gave a certificate for the winners at the night entertainment.
The main frustration with the place was that if you want a decent sunbed you need to get it VERY early!! people were putting their towels on at god knows what time as by 8.30 ish they were just about full. there are 2 pool areas, one is quiet and the other is fairly loud, with music etc.
The area itself was very nice, quite hilly and their is a natual pool nearby which is real pretty. If you want a decent beach you need to go to Playa de la Arena which is about 15 mins walk.
We didn't have any cockroaches so no complaints there although we did go in March. The drag act we seen did make a joke that there are cockroaches in the summer though!!
Overall, we really enjoyed it and would go back, definitely worth the money we paid.

Room Tip: Get a sunbed early!

We stayed all-inclusive and all our needs were met. Plenty of sun-loungers around the pool areas (though could perhaps have more sun shades). Take your own beach towels as not supplied. Great choice of food. Variety of entertainment every evening to suit majority of tastes. My daughter and I enjoyed all we saw. Staff very nice and helpful. Neighbouring resorts within walking distance - some walks on quite an incline - worth a visit. The bedroom we were in had usual amenities, though no TV remote (channels were 1 to 10 and had to tune in backwards from channel 100!) Wardrobe could have been longer! No real complaints, had a lovely stay and would go back there again.

Room Tip: Folk wanting an early night may wish to request a room that is not above the disco bar where the evening entertainment is.
