Our two week vacation at Duwa Villas was the most relaxing holiday ever. My wife and I celebrated our 44th wedding anniversary in the most romantic, peaceful and sublime surroundings. The sounds of tropical nature, deep warmth and the utter Luxury of privacy combined to create an unforgettable experience. We will be returning.

The moment I've arrived in the villa I was feeling as if I was in a different country. The villas are just amazingly beautiful and have the most beautiful touch into them.

The food is unbelievable.
The atmosphere is 5 stars hotel with a touch of the local jungle.
Monkeys are everywhere, the river is a step away, and the room are just fantastic.
Far from anything I've seen in Sri Lanka, and in the world as well actually.

The stuff - just incredible human beings, here to make you feel at home.

Loved it, strongly.

WOW! Every aspect of the villas is amazing ! Great design decor and finish with amazing attention to detail. There's a really great feel to the Villas and the staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable. The villas are surrounded by beautiful waterways teaming with wildlife. It was worth the trip to sri lanka just to see the Kingfishers!! A truly remarkable place.

From the moment you enter the amazing compound you are taken by its energy & zen feel. Every detail is attended to (by our private butler )in a casual way that makes you feel like you are staying at a friends home. As much as we enjoyed the tranquil setting,we loved the activities on offer. We went for an unforgettable sunset paddle & a bike trip to the nearby tea plantation with our lovely guide Tony. I was able to practice Yoga in one of the shales while my partner was meditating. And between all of that we had some chilled out time at the pool. The food is also marvelous, and for foodies like us very important. Amust try is the vanilla yoghurt (breakfast), the veggie wraps, curries( with lots of cinnamon) and the Tuna Burger, all top. Unfortunately, we could not stay any longer but we look forward to returning next year .

Room tip: We stayed in Villa 1 but all of them have their unique style.

The villas are beautiful, the owners have a remarkable flair for design. Such a peaceful location, an oasis
surrounded by greenery, coconut and cinnamon trees and a river yet still so close to the beach but a world away from the busy beach towns. Highly
recommended!!!
