Since there are several restaurants like this,on the beach, all with pleasant service, it's too bad the food itself was not better. We came in because there was a new sign out saying "atún hoy", and I couldn't resist some freshly caught tuna. I had it as the server recommended, barbecued, and it was overlooked and under seasoned-- so sad to not take proper care of a lovely piece of fish! My husband had a chile relleno con pollo
that had a bland tomato creme sauce with small pieces of chicken; pretty unremarkable. The margarita was very good and the price for the fish reasonable. The prices for guacamole and some of the basic Mexican dishes were higher than they should have been for the quality. Also, it is a small menu but they were out of the tamales. They probably would have sold another drink or two if someone had checked once during the meal. So we will search out other options in the future.
