This is a lovely well equipped cottage. The welcome hamper was a fantastic bonus. Mary Ann goes out of her way to make sure your stay is perfect without getting in your way. We will be back to enjoy the home comforts offered and the fabulous location and scenery.
The cottage was one of the best equipped we have ever stayed in and we all enjoyed dipping into the items in the welcome hamper through our stay. The beds were really comfortable, although fitted bottom sheets would have been an improvement, and we were cosy and warm whatever the weather (and we had pretty much everything from fog and rain to blazing sunshine).
There was so much to do in the area, something for everyone. As well as Bounce Below and the zip wires, the quarry tour in an open lorry was really interesting as was the slate mine tour. If you do one early bird booking you get a great discount on a second activity on the same day, so well worth getting up early! We got to the beach one day and into the mountains another, so a huge range of things through the week.
Fantastic little cottage perfectly situated to explore the area. The cottage itself is clean and tidy, the kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom is modern. It's a short walk into the centre where there is a delicious fish and chip shop. It's also very close to zip world which is well worth a visit. We had a great stay and would recommend this place.
What a wonderful few days in this beautiful cottage. Maryann thought of everything, we thoroughly enjoyed our hamper of goodies. It was a perfect place to cosy up in after a long day of walking in Snowdonia during winter! Thank you for a lovely visit
Very well maintained cottage with good size lounge and great kitchen with everything you could need. It is close to Zip world slate caverns which are amazing. Also it is at the end of the line for the Ffestiniog steam train and a good base to get to Snowden which we did. Owner very helpful and responsive.
This was our third stay here and it gets better each time - we love it here! Our two children (aged 7 and 2) adore their bedroom, filled with toys for them to enjoy. We arrived late in the evening but the cottage was warm and cosy with a wonderful welcome basket filled with biscuits, coffee, cake, wine and lots more. Mary Ann goes to such efforts to make us welcome each time we stay here. There is so much to do in this beautiful part of Wales - our son loves the steam trains and we even managed to play on the beach at nearby Criccieth despite it being October. We will be back!
