We had 3 nights at the Chateau. Words cannot describe how wonderful everything was. The quality of everything from the amenities, the staff, the grounds was better than expected. Maryanne & Benjamin were especially friendly & efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. The Chateau was great value also. There was even a great laundry & clothes dryer available free of charge. It was a great location to explore the Dordogne from. It was close enough to Sarlat to be convenient. It was great to be in such a quiet peaceful environment, yet still within easy distance of the best Dordogne has to offer. Such a superb environment to return to after a days sightseeing. Maryanne handled pleasantly & efficiently the delivery of a package prior to our arrival. We had dinner one night in the restaurant. It was absolutely fabulous & great value. The grounds of the Chateau are kept immaculate & it is a pleasure to wander around there & the nearby village.

Spent 6 nights here. We are here in the off season so it is quiet but the hotel has a perfect location for exploring the beautiful Dordogne river valley cliff side towns and chateaus. Started in a room in a different building but they upgraded our room to one in the chateau. Both rooms were very comfortable and very clean. Every interaction with the staff has been outstanding. They focus on service here. Stay here if you can when visiting this area.

Stayed at the chateau a day and night and wished we had planned a longer stay. We booked on line and paid around one hundred dollars per room for the two couples traveling so we didn't have premium accommodations; the more expensive rooms are in the big chateau. But we were happy staying in lodges next door which were updated with modern facilities and, although kind of small they were adequate for our short stay. We toured the area, maybe the most beautiful in France and had cocktails out on the large terrace at the back of the chateau. Although we were traveling in late October, the grounds were still in nice shape and the views surrounding the property are outstanding.

We can't tell you how helpful and friendly the hotel keeper was and she certainly earns her pay. She booked us in, served drinks on the terrace, seemed to be all over the place, and gave us all kinds of good advice about the area and our travel plans back to Paris. We had dinner that night at the restaurant, an elegant building adjacent to the chateau. The prix fixe menu was around $40 per person but was the best French meal we had during our month long trip. We had an early departure so didn't have breakfast which is served in the chateau so we probably missed out on having an additional positive experience. This facility offers ample free parking and wifi.

Room Tip: Do not miss having dinner at the restaurant

Beautiful location and place, the castle is fantastic with the park, good to use as base for the various itinerary that you can managed to visit the Perigord, close to Sarlat.
The management is very good, the persons in charge (all) are really gently and always done the best to satisfy all your need.
Good restaurant with nice foods (French cuisine) and wines.

super hotel, beautiful building in a lovely situation but with easy access, well back off the main road. Good amenities, helpful friendly staff, good breakfast; ample sized bedroom and bathroom in Les Dependences (converted building in the grounds, cheaper than the rooms in the Chateau), comfortable and quiet. Parking in the grounds. Good restaurant, good breakfast; lots of choice locally to eat. The local area has lots to visit, notably the four Chateaux built to guard the strategic importance of the river during the 100 years war and fascinating to visit. Good slow boat ride on the river for another view. There is a grand salon on the first floor of the Chateau with plenty of seating; there is a terrace outside on which to take refreshments and absorb the view - I would have liked a more comfortable area, with sofas and armchairs, in which to sit and read.
