Amazing Beach!

4.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed Jul 27, 2024
The resort was great for our family. The townhouse was really lovely and you could see the water from your back door. The beach was beyond amazing, especially if you strolled to the point down the beach on your right. We found so many shells and it was so peaceful. Abaco is still recovering from the 2019 hurricane, and they desperately need the tourist income. I can definitely say I've visited one of the most beautiful beaches on earth!

Our family visited Bahama Beach Club for 5 nights in June. The resort is first class all around. We stayed in the 4 bedroom VIP unit which is located literally right on the beach and could be easily accommodate a party of 12. The unit was beautiful, immaculately clean, has updated appliances and everything you need (except beach towels) including toiletries, laundry and dish detergent and a well stocked kitchen. We’ve traveled all over the Caribbean, including many trips to the Bahamas, and Treasure Cay Beach is WORLD CLASS. The two restaurants on the property are first class and the service was fantastic. I’m perplexed about some of the prior reviews regarding service. In our experience, if you treat staff with kindness , it’s returned many times over. We did witness staff being mistreated by several rude guests. This resort is perfect for families or couples wanting a relaxing vacation to enjoy the pristine beauty of Treasure Cay beach. We took day trips to Green Turtle Cay, Hope Town, and Great Guana Cay, but our favorite activity was enjoying the three mile beach, kayaking, paddle boarding, and relaxing. The area is still rebuilding from Hurricane Dorian so there isn’t much to do in Treasure Cay, so if you are wanting an active night life this isn’t the place for you. If you are wanting to relax and the joy the beauty of the Bahamas and one of the best beaches in the world at a top notch property, this is the perfect place. Other than the resort restaurants and a couple of others, there aren’t many food options so we shopped at Maxwells in Marsh Harbour and cooked some meals but mainly we enjoyed the selection of choices on the property. We would highly recommend this to anyone and we are looking forward to returning

Bahama Beach Club:
Relaxing Bahamas Getaway for Dad and the Crew. My wife went on a girls trip and I wanted to spend some quality time with my kids and I took them on a surprise trip.

Just got back from an epic Bahamas trip with my three kids (ages 10, 12, and 13) and wanted to share a hidden gem: the Bahama Beach Club Resort. This place was perfect for our crew.

Service:
The staff was awesome from check in to checkout always had great service!
Super Relaxing: Forget giant, crowded resorts. Bahama Beach Club is laid-back with a capital "L." We never felt like we were on top of other people. The beach was practically our own little paradise with calm, clear water – perfect for building sandcastles, snorkeling and splashing around.

Easy on Me:
Big bonus – the condos came with a full kitchen. Huge lifesaver for whipping up meals and snacks on my own schedule (no hangry meltdowns!). Dinners every night on property were great. Plus, laundry facilities in the condo meant I wasn't wrestling with swimsuits and sandy towels every night. Win-win!

Kid Fun Built In:
The pool was a hit, with plenty of space for the kids to wear themselves out. Plus, Treasure Cay, where the resort is located, has calm waters that are great for kayaking and exploring. We even rented bikes and cruised around the island – easy and scenic!

Overall:
If you're looking for a stress-free Bahamas vacation with the kids, the Bahama Beach Club is a fantastic choice. It's low-key, relaxing, and has everything you need for a fun and memorable getaway.

Room tip: You should stop at the grocery store in Marsh Harbour to stock up on breakfast or lunch items.

One of the worst dining and service experiences I've ever had. Having spent 25 years in the Hospitality industry I get that sometimes systems/things just don't work. However, there is so much broken here that it would take more heart, guts and hard work than I think the management has.

Steak Night: wife had a lobster dish that was over cooked beyond all recognition. I had a NY that was ordered medium rare. Served rare. Both dishes were served with undercooked risotto and vegetables that had some heat put to them, but raw nonetheless. The tab included 2 poorly made cocktails(our server said that he didn't know what was in them, they were 'premade-. $160.00 later, including an automatic 18% gratuity, we were given a ticket that had the place for me to offer even more money for as an additional gratuity.

Beach Bar: if you know anything about food preparation, you know that cross contamination can ruin your customers week, but I'll get to that in a second. I've never experienced a more miserable service experience in my life. I get that it's tough to be happy all the time at work, but literally only 1 staff person actually cracked a smile(Carolyn was the best example of good service). The staff barely made eye contact, barely acknowledged your presence and just generally seemed cranky. Cups being dunked into ice bins(no ice scoops), conch being tenderize on the same surface that raw burger ingredients were being prepped on, no glove use, no hand washing by the staff. The prices on the menu(especially drink menu) do not reflect what shows up on your tab. In an afternoon my wife and I order Titos and Soda. According to the menu those should $12.50. We were charged $15 a piece, that is before rhe 10% tax and 18% automatic gratuity.

At the end of the day I get that, culturally: service, sanitation and food quality standards are different. What's going on here is far & away beyond a cultural issue it's a total lack of 'give a damn'.

3rd time I have stayed and had a great experience every time. Natalie from Reservations is very friendly and professional. Units are large with plenty of space and very clean. The food at the property restaurant is amazing as is the service. This place encompasses what the Abaco'a is about.

This is the perfect place to go. One of the most beautiful beaches and clearest waters I have seen in the Caribbean. Accommodations are first class as is the service. Very laid-back atmosphere quiet you often feel like you had the entire beach to yourself. This was my second stay and it surely will not be my last
