Basic but excellent menu. Tends to be very busy but the servers get the job Many locals go there and the pricing is very affordable.

Visit St. Bart every year, and after mornings at the beach, more often than not we visit Le Piment for lunch. Great salads, burgers, and desserts. Good service and a relaxed local vibe. What's not to like.

Great location in St. Jean. Street noise & somewhat smoky but food was great, fast & friendly service.

Le Piment is unpretentious, but serves good food in a casual environment (I loved their duck with French fries, and posted their pistachio ice cream profiteroles to my instagram account!). It fills up to the the gills during soccer matches, and you may see the wait staff from the more upscale restaurants hanging out here after work. Would go back anytime!

We first went to Le Piment 15 years ago when the waiter told us they have the best cheeseburger on the planet. While that could be debated, it is nonetheless very good. So, we went back and had cheeseburgers there a couple of nights ago. We were not disappointed. It is a great place for a casual lunch or dinner. It has more of a local vibe than many places on the island. It is on a bustling corner in St. Jean that is entertaining. We will certainly eat there again on our next visit.
